Qin Youxuan pretended to sleep until she really fell asleep.
In a daze, she felt as if she was floating on the sea, rocking and swaying, unable to grasp reality.
When she opened her eyes, it was pitch black overhead, and her body could clearly feel the shaking. With a start, she almost jumped up.
"Awake?"
Dan Hanjie's deep voice carried a soothing power.
Qin Youxuan's tense nerves relaxed instantly, as she grasped his arm.
"Are we in the car?"
"Mm."
"Where are we going?"
"Back to the villa," Hanjie responded to every question, wrapping Qin Youxuan in his arms, letting her lean comfortably against his chest.
"What about Tingye?" Qin Youxuan turned her head to look around the car, but didn't see her son. She anxiously asked.
"He's at the Ye Family. Your dad couldn't bear to let him leave and asked him to spend the night there. The maternity matron stayed as well; nothing will happen," Hanjie's eyes shimmered, a spark of cunning hiding within.
