When Zhen Liu received the news of what had gone down in regard to both the Erupting Dawn Empire's and the Sacred Flame Theocracy's weird zombie soldier bullshit, it was about…dinner time.
Zhen Liu, his family, his friends, and his lovers had decided that the best way to relax after battle was to try the local cuisine beyond the inn that they were staying in. Especially when some of those restaurants were actually religious groups that made it their mission in life to make the best meals possible.
As such, Zhen Liu was in the middle of enjoying some kind of curry spaghetti dish when he received the information dump about both the horrific slime monster powering the Erupting Dawn war effort and the much more terrifying sentient bonfire underneath his feet that was doing the same for the Sacred Flame Theocracy.
