Simera and Emeros walked through the chaos of the city.
Scenes of the imps and even gremlins being casually killed by the angry evolved creatures.
Emeros noticed it all and recalled how the devil-kins that have managed to emerge in the mortal world act independently.
"This is the first large city that we have been to, and I'm shocked at how common it is for these creatures to kill and eat each other." Simera noticed the gruesome world of the devil-kins.
"And so that's why many gambled their lives to go above. I recall that the weaker devil-kins, the imps, and the gremlins, who fled to the mortal world acted independently and were not slaves. They must have gone there in hopes of having better opportunities to evolve..." Emeros recalled the imps and other creatures he fought who were moving about when he first entered the cave.
"This is quite a field trip you had me take. I am seeing what the world that focuses on evolution-cultivation looks like." Simera chuckled.
