With angry huffs and a thudding heart, the queen stomped toward Rosalia. "What took you so long?"
Rosalia had her hands folded and her head down. "she was resisting me strongly. I'm sorry I'm not the best of a mind manipulator."
"Then what good are you even for?" The queen gritted her teeth. When Rosalia did not respond, the queen walked past Rosalia after a terse whisper, "keep her just like that till I fetch the other witch out of her cage. Be cautious this time. Selene will not wake up." The queen was long gone before Rosalia stretched out a set of long and sturdy vines to lift Selene up and keep her on the bed.
Rosalia could not get over what she had felt in Selene's head.
There was so much sorrow and so much worry. It was a lie that Selene had resisted. A witch's magic was made to prevail over any supernatural being. Rosalia was late herself before she realised it would be tough to help Selene if the queen died. There needed to be some proof in the public.
