Yue walked out of the car in a dazed state. 'he will die soon…... I didn't even realize it.' Now that he thought about it Prisitsky had always been on the thin side.
During the first year of the apocalypse, he had noticed Prisitsky slimming down to a bone. He should have known something was wrong. 'Why did I not notice? Shit., shit….' He felt a sharp ache in his heart.
"hey… you okay," Fan held his shoulders.
Feeling his warmth, Yue simply leaned forward and hugged him. "….. Prisitsky is dying,"
"What!"
"he said he doesn't have long to live. That tree.., it's eating up his insides.." he thought about it for a second. "Wait I can ask Trexa to help him. Maybe.. maybe she can heal him," he dashed to the Qian's car.
Trexa, blackie, and coco were in the back seat of the van, all cuddled up.
Yue gently removed his beloved little rat from the pile and kissed her small head. Her little whiskers moved lightly, and she woke up. "Trexa… I need your help."
