The search for the assassin started just like the king ordered, the street were scattered in a moment, slashes on anyone who move sluggish, people flee without taking their goods, everyone was asked to leave the street and move to their houses with immediate effect.
No one ask of what happened, because of the fear of the king..... No one knows what is going on, all they did was run.
Right from the first house from the city gate, the houses were thoroughly searched, forcing doors open, going into homes at will, the soldiers scattered all they met in various people's homes their clothes, plates and other things, in a bit, Alexopoulos started loosing interest in the search because he thinks that, all that happened is not the work of an assassin but of Kearyhaz's. This makes him loose interest in the search so quickly .
He then called his second in command to seek for his advice because he believed they are doing the search due to king's foolishness.

Alexopoulos : - Daoloupi!... Come!
Daoloupi : - Aye, my lord!
Alexopoulos : - You were there in the palace when Elias was killed.
Daoloupi : - Aye, my lord. It was an arrow that shut him dead, two arrows.
Alexopoulos : - Do you think an assassin is in the capital?
Daoloupi : - I believe not, my lord..... It was that man, Kearyhaz, same arrow shut a boy dead not long ago. It is him, my lord.
Alexopoulos : - Do you now suggest we keep searching?! Because i am tired of this, this is pointless to me.... This searching is not what we should be doing.
Daoloupi : - We both know the search have nothing to do with the death of Elias, my lord.... Perhaps, if we stop the searching it would be that we defy the king, and if we keep searching it is in vain, for their is no an assassin to catch, we will never catch an assassin. However, we are disturbing the peace of the citizens with our stu, stupid act of ours we called searching.
Alexopoulos : - I also understand all that Daoloupi! But, what do we do..... Should we continue searching for what we knows we don't lost and cannot find?
Daoloupi : - My lord, we properly knows who our king is, we would get ourselves killed if we don't do the search.
Alexopoulos : - We have to stop the stupid search.....Daoloupi!!!
Daoloupi : - My lord, it cost the king nothing to kill all of us without thinking twice if, we fail to do what he wants.... You know that...right? You are closer to him, you knows him better.
Alexopoulos : - A foolish king he is! He doesn't even suspend the tournament.
Daoloupi : - The city we are searching and people are free to go to the arena.... Only the arena, except the arena you can't go to somewhere else!
Alexopoulos : - (looking disappointed) What sort of king the gods have given us?! He lack wisdom, gods!
Daoloupi : - I suggest we keep the stupid searching going, my lord, just to satisfy him, at least for days. We only have to stop being brutal with the people.
Alexopoulos : - You are right Daoloupi, and even with the love he had for Elias, he won't stop at a thing to have us all killed.
Daoloupi : - Aye, my lord.
Alexopoulos : - In two days, we will continue the search, after that, i will go straight to meet Kearyhaz.

That same day, Kearyhaz took some things and goes to the arena to inform Gabris that he won't be around for a couple of days to participate in the tournament.
He did this with a gentleman approach though, pleading for Gabris support.

Gabris : - You should be at home Kearyhaz, it is not time for you in the tournament.
Kearyhaz : - I am not here for that, my lord!
Gabris : - Then why are you here?
Kearyhaz : - I need your help, my lord.
Gabris : - What is that?
Kearyhaz : - I need to embark on a journey... I would be happy if you can help me.
Gabris : - Help you how?
Kearyhaz : - Not to draw me with anyone until i am back.

The witch servant : - I beg your pardon mistress.
The Witch : - (shouted) Get out!!! You fool!
(the servant crawled out to the inner cave, Kearyhaz later arrived to the cave).
The Witch : - Welcome Berenike, welcome, what have brought you here my son?
Kearyhaz : - I did something wrong..... I killed the king's beloved messenger.
The Witch : - Why is that a wrong doing? We want to kill them all anyway!
Kearyhaz : - He saw me while holding the fire sword.
The Witch : - You are right to kill him, i told you to kill anyone that finds out.
Kearyhaz : - He told the king before i could kill him!
The Witch : - (laughs) Alanis, he will never believe him, i have hardened his mind. Alanis is not a problem for you, you are to watch his advisors.... They are the problem not him, as far as he doesn't listen to them, we will win.
Kearyhaz : - I was scared.
The Witch : - You don't need to be, yours is to watch his advisors closely.
Kearyhaz : - In a few days, i would be announced as the winner of the tournament and i am getting more powerful day after day, match by match no matter who was drawn against me. Be ready, my queen!
The Witch : - You have served me well, Berenike!
Kearyhaz : - What is the next thing after i am announced as the winner?
The Witch : - My son, Alanis has promised half his kingdom for the winner.
Kearyhaz : - Half his kingdom, no my queen, he only promised some items.
The Witch : - (laughs) You knows nothing Berenike, i am telling you what he's about to do now.
Kearyhaz : - (fumes) You are indeed more powerful than the gods like people says, my queen.
The Witch : - When you possess half the kingdom, you will have equal power as the king, you will set aside a place for me to bring my shrine in the capital, from their, we will move to the next stage, for i will be granted permission to the water that flows in the capital, the food and more, then the destruction of the great Massalia will begin.
Kearyhaz : - I will not fail you, my queen!
The Witch : - You can leave now Berenike, for you have long places to travel.
Kearyhaz : - My queen, i have a request to make.
The Witch : - I am listening!
Kearyhaz : - That man in charge of the tournament requested for foreign wine! I knows you are powerful, i want you to show me that power again.... Let good wine appear now that i will give the man.
The Witch : - (enchanting)
(and the fresh foreign wine appeared from nowhere)
Kearyhaz : - (amazed) gods!!!... Thank you my queen.
(he took the wine and started his journey)

Couples of days later, Alexopoulos get fed up with the search and decided to go and meet Kearyhaz.
He went straight to Kearyhaz chamber and met him there eating .

Alexopoulos : - Kearyhaz! Kearyhaz! Where are you?
Kearyhaz : - I am here eating, what do you want?! Why would you come to my chamber without knocking?
Alexopoulos : - I am not here to knock, i am here for the boy you killed, Elias. ( he moved close to Kearyhaz, grabs him on the shoulders and pull him up resting his back on the wall)...I know you are the one that killed Elias, i know it is you, i know you are the one that shut him and you must have killed him for a reason.
Kearyhaz : - It is not right that you come into my chamber breaking in..... I should inform the king about this!
Alexopoulos : - You will not leave here, until you tell me you are the one that shut him dead.
Kearyhaz : - You knows you are dead if the king should come in and see you holding me like this.
Alexopoulos : - I don't care .....but, the, th..... (he took his hands off his shoulders).
Kearyhaz : - (pats Alexopoulos on the shoulder) You made the right choice by taking off your hands off me.
Alexopoulos : - Now tell me what happened!
Kearyhaz : - Sit down, and have some food with me!
Alexopoulos : - Are you crazy, do you think i am here to joke with you?
Kearyhaz : - I surely knows you are here to arrest me.
Alexopoulos : - I am here to arrest you or kill you if possible.
Kearyhaz : - You dare not! (holding tight the eating knife in his hand)
Alexopoulos : - Don't dare me!!!
Kearyhaz : - I just did, you can try what you can!
Alexopoulos : - (angrily) You!
Kearyhaz : - Come on, you are the army chief! Make your move.
Alexopoulos : - (disappointed) If not for the king.
Kearyhaz : - Come on, army chief, the king is not here, no one will know you are the one that killed me.
Alexopoulos : - Shut up!!!
Kearyhaz : - Or what?
Alexopoulos : - SHUT up!
Kearyhaz : - Or what?! Kill me, beat me..... You are older, you look stronger and you are the army chief, if anything should happen to the king today, you will be the one to protect the kingdom..... Are you going to protect the kingdom with this soft mind of yours.
Alexopoulos : - I won't tell you to keep your mouth shut again!
Kearyhaz : - With this tiny soft hands of yours?
Alexopoulos : - (removed his sword from the sheath pointing it to Kearyhaz) Don't make me cut you into pieces!
Kearyhaz : - There you go, you are now acting like a man! Go ahead and cut me if you can...
Alexopoulos : - (looking at him so angrily) Don't dare me (softly)
Kearyhaz : - Come on, make your try.
Alexopoulos : - (dropped his sword)
Kearyhaz : - You are a coward!
Alexopoulos : - (angrily) You are no match for me!

He attacked Kearyhaz trying to cut him, but Kearyhaz is faster, he moved away from the swing of the sword in a blink of an eye.
They started a little fight, Kearyhaz blocked the sword so well with the table knife in his hand.
However, Alexopoulos experience makes him somehow better fighter than Kearyhaz. He cut Kearyhaz on his back and also on his arm.
And that provoked Kearyhaz, Kearyhaz quickly changed the holding of the knife and attacked Alexopoulos.

Alexopoulos : - Don't make me kill you.
Kearyhaz : - You?..... You dare have my blood on your sword?!..... You are a dead man!
(with a tricky move, he get Alexopoulos down on his knees with the sword on his throat)
Kearyhaz : - Perhaps killing you here will not bring honour to me..... I will wait until i have the chance in front of your king before i kill you.
(He moved away from him slowly)
Kearyhaz : - Get up, my lord! And go on your way.....
Alexopoulos : - (looking disappointed) It doesn't end here Kearyhaz, soon, we will draw sword again and then, i won't underestimate you then.
Kearyhaz : - You are here to know if i killed Elias, Yes! i did! but you will be dead before you know why i did that, trust me, you will be dead before that happens.
Alexopoulos : - I knew it is you, i knew you killed Elias, the king must here this!
Kearyhaz : - You should be scared of your own life Alexopoulos, stop being worried about the dead one.
Alexopoulos : - (full of tears in his eyes) You, why?! You killed that innocent boy... Because, because of your selfish interest! You are a dead man walking, you shall die by my hands.
Kearyhaz : - Take your leave my lord, the day will come when my sword will taste your sword.
(Alexopoulos leaves Kearyhaz's chamber and heads back to the palace to inform the king)

Zailas : - Sire, can you please give us a little time?
Tamos : - If not for business i am not ready for anything.
Dennis : - Business, business, business.... Sire, you can only have your business going in a peaceful kingdom. Your business would not succeed if the kingdom is not at peace.
Tamos : - What, do you want from me?!
Zailas : - The same reason we came the other day, sire.
Tamos : - Perhaps, you don't understand what it means to have done this, for me to accept this, don't you know it is treason?
Dennis : - No, it is not sire.
Tamos : - You talked about the king can have our beloved town burnt down to the ground.
Dennis : - Yes?!
Tamos : - This act is what would make him burn the town to the ground, the act is called treason.
Zailas : - If, the whole town is in support.... With your wealth, your army, your status and your knowledge.... We will have kingdom of our own, we could be the smallest of all the kingdoms, but, the mightiest and the most wise.

Tamos : - Me (chuckles) ..... Your king?!
Zailas : - With your status, you can easily defend yourself and family if it doesn't work as plan.
Tamos : - And the people?
Zailas : - We will pay for it, we will pay extra tax, we will have to do extra work..... But we will face it, we will face the consequences.
Tamos : - You cannot speak for the people in their absence, or have you spoken to them before?
Dennis : - Everybody needs freedom, that is nature of human being..... We all wants to be free. Take away freedom from them, they start rebellion, civil war, give them freedom, you are creating peace, just that, watch over them so they don't go around too free and starting dangerous act.
Zailas : - People are suffering, my king. They need someone to lead them out of this hardship, it is getting too much. You can be the saviour.
Tamos : - ( thought for a while) SO BE IT!!!
Dennis : - (so happy) Yes!...Thank you my king, thank you, thank the gods!
Zailas : - Long shall you reign my king, thank you.
Tamos : - So, what is the first thing, where do we get started?!

Alexopoulos went straight to meet the king at the throne room to explain what Kearyhaz did to him.
Fortunately, all other lords are their with the king, even Hectourrous and Agnes are there too, only Gabris is busy at the arena.

Alanis : - (amazed) Kearyhaz? .....Kearyhaz put a knife on your throat? How dare him? And he said he's responsible for the death of Elias?
Alexopoulos : - Yes, my king! he told me himself... himself my king!
Hector : - No doubt about this, my king, he is the one surely.
Frangos : - Perhaps my king, He's announcing his position, how important and powerful he is, for him to have put a knife on the throat of army chief...
Antoni : - Who am i then?
Hector : - You need to do something quick, my king!
Frangos : - I knew all this could happen from the start
Antoni : - He needs to be killed before it is too late.
Hector : - An example should be made of him
Alanis : - What if all these are not true..... You were there with who, Alexopoulos? And why do you go to his chamber?
Alexopoulos : - My king?

Frangos : - gods forbid he snatches this kingdom from your hands!
Alanis : - No!..... no, that will not happen, send for Gabris to meet me in the palace right now! ...Alexopoulos, Gabris will get you in the tournament to draw sword with him, make sure you kill him, you heard me right, kill him.
Alexopoulos : - I am so glad you give me this chance my king, i will surely kill him for you and the sake of this kingdom my king.....Even if it going to cost me my life.

It is the time for the Massalian army to go to the town of SPAR to gather all the taxes and other things they normal goes their to collect.
When the armies got their, Tamos himself spoke with the leader of the group and change his perspective by informing him about their new plan and urge him to comply with them.
Though, he don't just did that, he gave him some things, money, food items, horses and some other things. Meanwhile, the SPARS made sure they have all the taxes paid, but, under new king.

Soldier : - You are doing a lot, but you should add more, you know how much i am risking my life and, these things are not for me, i want you to know that! I will have to give to some people to keep their mouths shut.
Zailas : - Aye! i know i should add more, but, i won't.
Soldier : - Why?
Zailas : - Look, the king could decide to send some other people next time, which i will have to start new offer with them..... You know that, don't you?!
Soldier : - (fumes) Don't worry about that! Alexopoulos will be informed and all other important people.
Tamos : - And you think that will not be harmful? They will not inform the king?

Tamos : - We will increase the items then.

Gabris rushed in to the throne room asking for the king, because the king is not at the arena at the time the fight between Alexopoulos and Kearyhaz is about to begin.

Hector : - Hunting?
Gabris : - Hunting? When the the biggest match is about to begin?
Hector : - Hunting, gods! when, why did you let him go, can't you tell him not to do that.... and you were here!
Antoni : - My lord, you spoke like you don't know our king, what can i do when he says he's going..... You know he won't listen to me... You know that!
Hector : - gods!!!
Antoni : - That is our king for you.
Hector : - The chief of army in a battle, and the king in a hunting game! (exhale) hmmm! What if something happens to them?
Antoni : - Nothing will happen to them.
Hector : - What if, what if something happens to them?
Antoni : - Aye! the kingdom is in big danger, but in time, we will get ourselves together.

Gabris as usual announced the fighters, people were amazed to hear the name of the Army chief Alexopoulos in the tournament, even Kearyhaz himself was surprised.
Alexopoulos holding a spear and a shield, while an extra sword is on him. Kearyhaz like always, holding two swords, and a spare one is on him.
But Kearyhaz was happy to fight, because he knew once he kill Alexopoulos, the chances of winning the kingdom is a bit more realistic, he grabbed the opportunity of fighting him without questioning even though Alexopoulos should not be participating in the tournament and if yes, he should have started from the beginning not joining when the tournament is two, three rounds to go and about to enter the finale.
The spectators are all anticipating, knowing it going to be a deadly fight. Opinions are divided immediately on the arena, some goes for Kearyhaz and majority goes for Alexopoulos and within a moment, the fight begins. Cheers all around, the shout of BULL HEAD from the supporters of Kearyhaz filled up the air even though they are not too many.

Kearyhaz : - Today is your doom day, you know that?!
Alexopoulos : - I am here to kill you and save this kingdom from you and your evil plan.... And i will make sure i kill you and the evil plan fail.
Kearyhaz : - I promised your blood that it is going to feel my sword, and i make a promise to my sword that it is going to taste your blood. Are you ready now? Your blood to my sword!
Alexopoulos : - I am here to kill you not to discuss! (he strikes)
Kearyhaz : - You are too slow!
Alexopoulos : - (with heavier and faster strike) You will be dead.
Kearyhaz : - (chuckles) You are ten times slower, old man.
Alexopoulos : - (with better move, one of his best) What, i missed (talking to himself)
Kearyhaz : - That is better move from you, now, let's play.

Kearyhaz, changed the position of his swords in his hands and start fighting, real fighting this time, at first, Alexopoulos was standing firm, and suddenly he started feeling some sort of pains in his body and he's rapidly feeling weak, weaker and weaker. He noticed he's getting weaker, he related it with how the ones known as best fighters has died in the hands of Kearyhaz and what could make Kearyhaz killed Elias.... He sensed Kearyhaz is using black power, he asked Kearyhaz about it, Kearyhaz told him yes, he is using black power, he was about to expose Kearyhaz, meanwhile, Kearyhaz has got Alexopoulos on his knees by the time, he wanted to fight his way up and also shouted HE USES BLACK POWER, but due to the huge noise on the arena the spectators couldn't hear, he was about to say it again and Kearyhaz deep his sword in his heart.
Alexopoulos is dead, and Kearyhaz won again..... It was a big victory for him, but the bigger one is still coming on his next match.
The crowd became silent , and remain silent until they all left, this time the ones that are chanting BULL HEAD realized big problem has entered the Kingdom of Massalia.
Hector, Gabris, Hectourrous, Antoni, Agnes and some soldiers went to the ground to go and carry the corpse of Alexopoulos with tears in their eyes.

It was a good day in the woods, because they do not spend much time before they killed a lot of animals, they have killed a lot and the king is still demanding they should kill more, even the ones they have killed, they barely can carry.

Alanis : - Let us kill one or two deers before we go.
Frangos : - But my king, we hardly can carry all these.
Guard : - My king, if we are overloaded , we would be easily conquered if we are ambushed.
Alanis : - Shut up you fool!!!, it is a pleasure for a king to kill many animals during a hunting game, it shows how capable a king and the kingdom are! Besides, this is the king's woods, no one comes here!
Frangos : - Yes my king, you are right!
Alanis : - Thank the gods one of you knows i am right.
Frangos : - However my king, we need to go now, these are lots of kill today.
A Soldier : - (runs to the spot breathing heavily) My king we need to go now!
Alanis : - Why?
Soldier : - A deer is coming this way! My king, taller than all the deers have ever seen.

When the deer appeared, it is so giant , it makes some strange loud sounds, and not being baffled by the presence of humans it saw there.
All of them runs afar, only Alanis stayed to fight the large deer, Alanis was no match for the deer, not a scratch the deer took, the first knock from the deer knocked Alanis down on his back.
They all run to his aid, but before they could get there, the deer has done so much damage to the king breaking a rib and some bones with his face and body soaked in blood, because, one of its horn stuck on the king's body while the deer smashes the king on the ground severally.
Some Are dragging him, and some are fighting off the deer to remove the horn... One of the soldiers finally had the chance to cut off the horn, he did immediately and they carried the king and left and the deer ran away.
The king is extremely injured, no one knows if he's going to survive it or not, however, they carried him on full speed to the capital for Hector to examine.

(the door opens and it is the princess)
Soldier : - My lady!
Agnes : - Father!!! What happened to him (started sobbing seeing the brutals and the horn in him)
Hector : - (shouted) Get her out!
Agnes : - No! let me see him, let me see him let me see him!
Hectourrous : - ( cuddles her and speak to her ears) Come with me my love.
(he took her to the corridor)
Hector : - Frangos, get yourself together and go and tell her it's just a scratch.
Frangos : - These is not a scratch, the king could be dead!
Hector : - Don't you get it? Alexopoulos died in front of her, these would be too much for her to bare!
Frangos : - gods!!! Alexopoulos.

With the king critically injured and at the point of death, also, the chief of army Alexopoulos dead, the kingdom currently has no ruler or commander to guide the kingdom.
These leaves the kingdom defenseless, and gives other kingdoms a chance to attack and take over also, giving Kearyhaz his best opportunity.
