I sat down with Diana for her English lessons. We were studying tenses. Her father can tell me that he had the perimeter swept. He confirmed He found nothing. She decided that she wants to play so I gave him the angry look. He promised her ice cream the next day if she gets it all right. She ran quickly to me and I asked her, "Which tense is this? Past? Present? or Future?" She sat on the remote and the TV turned on. A politician was campaigning and he said, "Tomorrow our country will be corruption free" I quickly switched it off but not before Diana replied, "Future Impossible Tense" I burst out laughing and GG did the same. She was drinking a glass of water and it sprayed all over the place. The maid came running to clean up and even the guards were laughing.
Phillip walked in looking annoyed, "Do we need these vehicles?" I gave him a tired look, "The Sherp from Russia is for rescue missions when my family goes places. It is beyond doubt the best off-road vehicle that drives even on the water so I am taking it. The Storm from Ukraine is for my personal use when Jenine decides to show up. The woman can on occasions be an obstacle" He shrugged, "Don't you have a Mercedes Guardian?" I smiled, "Better safe than sorry. Besides if my enemies knew I ride the same thing twice wouldn't it be easy for them to figure out how to kidnap me?" This seemed to jostle him, "You qualify for Secret Service Protection" I winked, "The president has already authorized it. They are a part of my security and yet things have happened. Goes to show what is meant to happen will happen despite the precautions we take" He gave me a curt nod and gave me the catalog for Christie's. Phillip sat down and helped me with Diana. After which she ran to see her father and uncle. I sat to search the catalog when Angelina walked in. I gave her a look and behind her was a man I presumed was her boss. She gave me a nervous look and asked me if I could help her with a situation that is classified. I shook my head. I was assigned by the president to do something that is so classified that I felt that if I even thought about it I might be sent to a black site prison. So I gave a simple no and nod my head. A cousin of mine that works in the secret service stepped forth and explained the situation. So the man decided he could do better. I picked up the phone and dialed the president. They left without saying anything further.
That night a few men in military uniform arrived to ask me if I wanted to go to Marine Ball. I politely turned them down explaining that my grandmother is unwell so I will be taking care of her in the hospital. When they left Adam asked me if I wanted to go for a drive. I told him I rather take a bubble bath and get some sleep. I got a call forward from one of my assistants that Angelina wanted to talk to me. My response was a rough mumble and I hung up. My security was snickering as I dragged my feet to the stairs. I wish storm season would come so I can take a break. After three paces Adam carried me upstairs. He made sure I was calm before he left the room.
The next morning I gave Jasmine the list of stuff to buy and requested the Limo. Diana was jumping up and down as she ate her eggs and toast. She was excited but her father looked a little concerned. Diana ran to me, "Mommy can I skip school today and go with my cousins for a play date?" I shook my head, "Future Impossible Tense" Her eyes grew wide, "Is there such a tense mommy?" I smiled, "This is a type of tense only mommies are allowed to use so she say no. No school will ever call it a useable tense." I sat down with the New York Times. GG was reading the Wall Street Journal. When I was done I gave Diana a piggyback to the car. She saw the car was crowded so she sat on my lap and listened to what we were saying. She was shocked at the list of chores I distributed to my assistants. When she got to school she wished me luck and ran to her friend.
