It had been quite a day.

I extended my hand towards the ceiling, a golden fire emitting from my hand that disappeared as soon as I closed my fist. It's still unusual, having so much power without even having to say an enchantment. I can just flick my finger, like Adrian and Miss Granny.
A sigh left my lips as I pulled back my hand. I looked toward the window, it was midnight. I couldn't sleep.
Whenever I close my eyes, horrible events start to flash in front of me, making it impossible to sleep.
"Having trouble sleeping?" I heard Augustus's voice. I turned my head to the right to see him lying on his stomach with his head resting on his hands which were supported by his elbow, on the pillow beside me.
