Adelle seemed thirsty from talking too much, smacking her lips, and snatching the water bottle from Sonia's hand to drink: "You said you want to become a Shadow Actress or Songstress because they make a lot of money. That sounds reasonable, but there are so many lucrative professions, why must it be a Songstress or Shadow Actress specifically?"
"You always come up with many complicated reasons, but actually, many things are motivated by simple reasons."
Adelle reflected, "I've seen so many plays, and the biggest impression I've got is that many seemingly perfect plans always get overturned by someone's whimsical motives. This world really does have too many unreasonable whims."
