Balira woke up and stretched, "Where am I," she said rubbing her sleepy eyes. "Well Balira you're in the UK and you heartlessly forced me to sleep in a separate room," Asad said smiling. Balira's head snapped toward the direction where the voice was coming from, she saw Asad shirtless (as always). Balira's cheeks turned in cherry red and she hid behind the blanket. " why do you always hide huh, hmm I wonder how tight you're gonna be" he said smirking.
Balira removed her head from the blanket, she didn't quite catch what Asad said because it was all muffled up" Huh what was that" she said with a raised eyebrow. Asad then turned pinkish as he replied "Oh nothing, umm meet me downstairs for breakfast so I can eat you, no no I mean to ea..t with you hehe" He laughed nervously and then Left the room. Balira was dumbfounded" Eat me?, but I'm not food" She then shrugged her shoulders, got dressed, and went down for breakfast.
At the table, it was quiet, the atmosphere was calm and normal like the way strangers would behave in front of one another. "You'll go shopping with Halima for clothes'' Asad said to Balira without looking at her, Balira had no objections she would follow all that her husband wanted her to do " As far as you respect my space I'll do whatever you want" she said to herself.
While shopping, Balira received a text from Asad via Halima, which read ''Buy something pretty and meet me at this address :-)" smiley face _ Asad. Balira complied and did as he instructed. When she stepped into the venue she saw many expensive-looking people " Wow this must be an exquisite gathering" she wanted to proceed inside but a crazy-looking woman "Excuse me doll where's your invite?" she said in a harassing tone while holding Balira's hand tight. Asad saw what was happening so he came to Balira's rescue "umm sorry she's with me Lunar" he then dragged Balira away from the crazy looking woman. she just sipped her wine while looking at Balira with an ugly scowl on her face "so you replaced me that quickly Asad, I will not let you go that easily, we're going to dance the tango and see who falls first" she sipped her wine and continued welcoming guests.
"I'm sorry about her, she's my ex umm I broke up with her when I heard about the marriage, well technically we didn't break up but you know what I mean" Asad tried to explain to Balira but the latter just had a blank look on her face. "it's none of my freaking business if she's your ex or you're still together, I don't care" she then turned around and left in a hurry. "why is she mad?, was it something I said" Asad was so confused, he just shrugged his shoulders and continued drinking. Little did he know that his words would later cause problems...
