A humakey had her back against the flat stone, her eyes show tiredness and her fur grouping with each showing parts of her soggy skin
She's sick,
Mandell stared attentively as the healer humakey ahead of him wearing a green hat and masked began to massage the patients whole body
"ughh" The patient groaned while the healer touch her head slowly going down to her sharp rusty looking toes
"Feeling better?" The healer asked with her voice muffled by the green mask
The patient opened her mouth trying to say something but no sound came out
"Don't try to talk, just signal me with a tap, it wouldn't be taxing would it?" The healer asked
And immediately she felt someone touching her legs, in other circumstances this might be seen as an harassment and the one being touched would feel gross out,
But seeing the almost rotten hand tapping her leg with energy Hannah's eye shrink,
"Well do that again, if you can't feel pain anymore, okay?"
Hannah said before sliding her glowing hands at the patients whole body
Seeing Hannah and the others treating a lot of humakey's with heavy injuries that blood could be seen flooding the stone bed once the patients stood up after treatment
'How did they get that kind of injury?, are they fighting with monsters?, must be cause of monsters'
Mandell thought as he searched the whole room where he meet eyes with a lot of people mostly patients who doesn't have that much injury and could sat down as they got treatment
'Ma'am Madell was right, I'm slowly getting use to it'
He pondered immediately avoiding eye contact with the patient
The day continue, and more patient rush in for treatment

A humakey holding her slice off arm, wobbling as she walk to a certain bed
As soon as they got to the bed, it always happened first, a glowing hand will pat them down
Looking at it, it reminds Mandell of a mother putting his child to sleep,
Even with heavy injuries and a time that could end at any second, the patients all lay down quietly with a blissful look at their face
The old humakey who Ma'am Madell was healing slowly stood up
Her arms could be mistaken as a twig, she's bigger than me but her curve back made our head meet
"Be well" I said,
She smiled at me and quietly goes to the stairs where a humakey was waiting ready to support the elderly
"Are you okay, mandell?" Teacher asked
I nod wanting her to get the message that 'I'm fine'
As there's really nothing wrong with me, not that I can tell there is
"Really?, then wanna help me with the next patient?"
Hannah asked as she lean closer to the bed wiping it with what seems to be a toilet paper but it have some weird patterns scribbled, it must have been drawn by a three years old
"Yes" Mandell immediately answered, it's already more than an hour since he was watching his teacher helped the injured one's
And the patients Hannah had healed this past hours is more than five...I guess
Someone arrived at the second floor, he's not wearing a mask nor a hat that's identical to what healers wear and he looks just like the many others
Blood was dripping from his mouth and what seems to be a burned charcoal was eating his chest
It's a black solid with cracks omitting red light similar to magma
"A miner"
Mandell heard someone mumbled that word, he blinked and as his eyes opened he saw a number of humakey suddenly appearing in front of the person,
Three of them supported the guy, gently moving hum toward mandell's direction
As the patient sat down the stone bed, Hannah looked at Mandell and said
"Mandell, do you know what water is?"
"Yes" Mandell answered with his eyes moving on its own toward the humakey's burning heart
"Then can you tell someone wearing this to get water" Hannah said pointing at her green mask
Mandell nodded and begin to head down stairs, as soon as he reached the step where the humakey's lining could see him
He felt weak not physically but mentally, one wrong silly mistake could make him felt like he just murdered someone
Their stares felt overbearing for him
He meet eyes with a lot of humakey's before he saw one near the entrance wearing the identical hat of his teacher Hannah
He hold onto the necklace he was wearing and began move to the side squeezing with the person in front of the line
"umm" When he finally reached the side, a clear path welcomed him
Now to his side is humakey's lining up and ahead of him is a straight clear path
Approaching the humakey at the door Mandell said
"Teacher said she needs water" Mandell said
As the one on the door was staring at Mandell the moment he appeared on the stairs, the humakey immediately responded
"Okay"
The humakey then made a sign with his hand which seems to say 'come here'
"Well let's go kid" The humakey said walking toward the place mandell took a bath in earlier

'What a coincidence' Madell thought
"Maddy!" A humakey yelled as she waved her hand elegantly
"Senna, did you get hurt?" Madell said sounding concern
"Ohh, no need to worry, my nail just gotten rusty" Senna said showing up her nails which looks shiny with the help of the sunlight
"Why not use artificial?" Mandell asked and Senna looked around before whispering to Madell
"That would make me look old"
"we are old?" Madell bluntly said looking at the entrance of the healing house that Senna is blocking
"Your mean, Maddy!, why can't you be gentle with my maiden heart" She said holding her chest like it was suppose to represent something
"Your not a maiden you have a daughter"
"Horrible so, soo horrible" She said before passing by Madell
"By the way the human kid she looked familiar, you sure your not married?" Senna asked
"Don't talk about marriage on me" Madell said opening the door to the healer house
"Jeez, it just slip" Senna said covering her mouth not wanting any words to come out while Madell is still present
