Folding up the ECG printout, Fu Xinheng walked over to the bedside and asked the pregnant woman to describe her condition, "How are you feeling now?"
Li Xiaobing looked at him, not sure how to respond.
"Doctor Zhu is in the operating room, and he will probably be late since the surgery he's performing this afternoon is a long one," Fu Xinheng told her. "You don't need to worry too much. Let's discuss everything after the examinations."
This robot was indeed emotionless to the extreme in its speech. Didn't it know that at times like these, a woman needs her husband's company the most? Li Xiaobing rolled her eyes internally. Of course, being a doctor herself, she had to understand her husband was saving lives.
"After the examination, they'll arrange a bed for you in our department. They will notify me immediately if there's any issue," Fu Xinheng said to her again.
