Right now, his priority was Shir—the demigod before him. That was an opponent he could handle.
He also wasn't overly concerned about God Raashim backing Shir. That was precisely why he had devised a plan to seize the faith of others.
God Raashim and his avatar, Shir, were simply test cases—an experiment to see if he could steal divine faith for himself and make things work the way he wanted. If this worked, he could replicate the process with other Immortals and their followers.
Instead of painstakingly building an empire from the ground up, it was far more efficient to conquer lands already ruled by others using his power and wits.
The process would be dangerous, filled with struggles and uncertainties, but the rewards would be immense—and, more importantly, time-saving.
As such, the Butcher let go of his distracting thoughts.
