Sam and his group did not know that the headquarters of the Abyss humans already caught the commotion that happened to their planet.
They are continuously trying to establish connections with the northeast cities. Unfortunately, some of the cities are unable to contact them.
They are continuously trying to do that but until now none of them have succeeded on that. Because of this the headquarters already sent some dark humans towards cities to know what happened.
Definitely something happened to those people and because of this, they were unable to establish contact with them.
But those Abyss humans never consider any enemy to invade their planet. They thought there was a chance those cities got attacked by those mutated Monsters.
This is a normal thing on the planet. Unfortunately, as they wanted to use those Monsters against Terraria, they did not do anything to those Monsters.
