Yu Shuchang narrowed his eyes and asked,
"What do you mean?"
"Well you see, Sheng Yin's ex is going to be at the shooting location too." Qiao Jun explained with a smile.
Yu Shuchang's hands, which had been fastening his cufflinks, paused for a fraction of a second before he resumed as if unaffected.
Qiao Jun, however, caught the minuscule reaction and smirked.
"Oh? No response? I thought you'd be at least a little concerned."
Yu Shuchang glanced at him through the mirror, his expression unreadable.
"Why should I be concerned?" His voice was calm, but the slight tightening of his jaw betrayed him.
Qiao Jun chuckled, reclining further into the bed.
"I mean, Sheng Yin's ex is quite the persistent one. If he's in the same place as her for an entire week, who knows what might happen?"
He sighed dramatically. "Poor you."
Yu Shuchang adjusted his tie with deliberate slowness. "You assume too much."
Qiao Jun sat up, his smirk widening. "Do I?"
