The woman scoffed, folding her arms tightly over her chest. Her overly glossed lips curled into a smirk.
"That's impossible. He never looked at you. He only ever looked at me. Everyone knew that."
Yu Sicong's expression barely changed, but a flicker of irritation passed through his eyes.
"I don't need to prove anything to you."
But before things could escalate, Fu Jian pulled out his phone. "I do want proof," he said quietly.
Yu Sicong glanced at him, surprised. His lips tightened, but he didn't say anything. Since his wife wanted to confirm it, fine. He wouldn't interfere.
The woman's eyes widened slightly. "Wait, you're seriously calling someone over this?"
Fu Jian didn't answer. He tapped through his contacts and made a call.
A few seconds later, the line connected. A bright, familiar voice rang out from the other end, cheerful and teasing.
"Ohoho~ Who's calling me so formally? Don't tell me it's our sister-in-law! Jian-ge, is that you?"
