Leo's eyes snapped open, disgust almost making him retch as his mind was plagued by that woman.
It had been a week in this living hell. Chained to the bed, Scarlett's words wrapping around him like a noose, yet her voice caressing his ear as though she was right there with him in the room.
Leo knew vampires could last long without blood for a while, but he was a new vampire. Newborns needed to feed ASAP lest they die. It was why their masters usually stayed with them.
