It would be advantageous to find her in a compromising position. Her lover would get pissed off and try to kill him themself. Before Scarlett's curse kicked in, Leo rushed across the street and climbed the trellis of plants curling up the apartment building until he was at Scarlett's open window.
Leo hopped inside. She was no longer in the large room, and her clothes were on the canopy bed. The room was much bigger than he had expected for a place in a city. His hand trailed along a few of Scarlett's items, following her water lily scent until he was behind a slightly parted door.
Light streamed out of it, and the sound of water sloshing made Leo grab his stake.
"Hmmm," Scarlett hummed.
Leo peered over the door, discovering Scarlett in a bathtub, her eyes closed, head tilted back. Bubbles covered her body and slid down her milky wet leg that moved so her foot could turn the tap off. Her hair was scooped up in a messy bun, red tendrils kissing parts of her neck and forehead.
