Chapter 23 - Chapter 22

I sat down in my seat and tried to relax but I sensed that I was in trouble. I looked around and saw that the ex-military guy was behind me. He was staring at me like I was a strange new toy his mom had given him. I turned around and watched as we approached the heart of the city. I didn't leave the seat since I was heading to Native lands. The conductor asked me if I wanted to stretch my legs. I politely declined. He was intrigued but said nothing.

The scenery remained scifi movie like till we saw mountains and huge cedar trees. Then we saw Native Americans riding horses and motorbikes. We saw a town that had both cabins and teepees. I got to see werewolves running around. People were growing food and also there were people who were foraging for fungus. I walked out and the conductor asked me to be careful. I gave him a nod and walked out.

There were a few people watching as I disembarked. Native Americans that were curious and upset believing people were here to make trouble. I walked past them with a smile. I asked if there was a place I could stay and a werewolf and a vampire invited me to stay with them. The humans were upset since they have been asking the werewolves to change them and they didn't. They wanted to know what I had that convinced them to let me stay with them. They didn't answer. I went with the vampires since I had to know them too. The vampire did a DNA test and found out that I am related to their leader so I was about to be escorted to him. I heard an argument and realized that the natives tried to follow me in. But with the greatest respect they were told that this was one of those situations where they are not allowed to enter. They gave me a dirty look and left. I wore a mask so they didn't know what I looked like. I changed back to my old self and the vampires were curious. They asked me pointed questions and they showed me to my room. I was told that i would see my relative the next day.

I decide to use echolocation. I found out that the werewolves were trying to invite me so they can bleed me. I was warned by Cain this would happen. They would enhance themselves than trouble will ensue. I sat down for dinner and the vampires were kind enough to introduce me to nightshade. It is the only poison that could hurt both sides. It is odorless and it is deadly to both sides but will paralyze me for some time.

I walked out to see werewolves waiting for me. I told them that I am here to stay with my family. They stared for a moment and left without a word. I knew they will be back at night. The natives asked me what I was that caused interest in both sides. They have seen wanted posters of me and wondered what I was. I pretended not to know what they said. I just strolled the park and came back. The werewolves stared trying to figure out what to do. I on the other hand was ready. They arrived at midnight. They demanded that I come with them and I howled. They changed into werewolves. I growled at them to leave so they left. The native-born watched the entire thing and was particularly intrigued.

They stopped approaching the others because they felt that I would help them. I didn't help them I politely asked them to be happy as they are. They got pissed and one of them called Saber to inform them that I was there. Machine City and Saber arrived to claim me. Machine city wanted to experiment on me to figure out a universal vaccine while Saber wanted to make an army of me. I changed into the other me that everyone in Green dale knows. I packed my stuff into a new bag and I ran to the station like all humans I have seen do. There were werewolves stationed there in case I would show up. I guessed this would happen so I sprayed myself with perfume to mask my scent. I hopped on board and was told that the train was deemed redundant till they find me. I was told that If I could walk to the next town I could catch a train there. It would take three hours to get there. So I thanked the man and walked out.

Since this was not their nation they couldn't barge in like it was their grandparent's house. They asked them where I was and they explained that I had already left. Both sides spread out to find me. Machine city sent drones while Saber used dogs. I walked into the woods until I reached a cave. There was a danger sign but I walked right in. I saw that there was a large cavity. I peered inside and saw that it was filled with zombies. Behind these creatures was a tunnel. I heard the dogs barking So I jumped in. The zombies stepped aside to let me pass. As soon as I went in they blocked the path. It was as though they were on my side.

I walked a quarter mile into the tunnel when I heard the soldier from Saber say that the trial ends here. The representative from Machine city was sure I was ripped to shreds till the soldiers said that I am the one thing that these things refuse to eat. They move away from me like I am a great white shark. This convinced them that they should find me quickly since these zombies smelled them and was starting to act crazy. They left the tunnel and tried to figure out what other exits were so they could either block them or to wait so they can ambush me. I ran at super speed and waited two and a half hours in the woods before showing up to catch my train. I reached the train station in time to go back home. When I reached Saber they asked me what convinced me to come back to Green dale. I told him that I was homesick. He gave me a sad look and asked me to move to the quarantine area.

They were trying to find me so they devised a plan to say there was an outbreak. There was a carrier of this new illness. But no one bought it. I didn't either so I walked towards the train and sat down. Before the train doors closed a man approached me and I was asked nicely to get off the train. I knew that the rules say I had to walk out the train of my own free will. They can't force me out. I refused to budge. The train is automated so he had no choice but to walk out so the doors can close. He started angrily as the train left the station. He pressed his walkie talkie to his mouth and explained the problem.

I arrived and was sent to quarantine to see if I would sneeze or cough. Since I exhibited no symptoms they asked to take a saliva sample and test it on site. It was negative so they burned the swab and let me go home. When I came home the others joked about it for a while but it died down.
