The Abyssal Voidspawn Brute roared in frustration as Pyro's attack landed, flames eating into its flesh. Its massive claw slammed against the stone floor, shaking the entire cavern. Debris rained down from above, and the smaller Voidspawn screeched, scrambling away to avoid the falling rocks.
Pyro stumbled back, his chest heaving. The flames of his [Infernal Strike] were beginning to die out, and his body screamed with fatigue. Aria darted past him, her lithe form weaving through the chaos.
"Get back, Pyro!" Aria shouted, her voice sharp. "You'll die if you keep pushing like that."
Pyro's knuckles whitened as he tightened his grip on the Zweihander. Blood dripped steadily from the corner of his mouth, but his eyes never left the Voidspawn Brute.
"If I back down now," Pyro muttered, spitting blood to the ground, "it'll be you next."
