The chamber grew colder, the ambient light flickering ominously as the pulse from the obelisk quickened. Cracks spiderwebbed across its surface, faint whispers echoing from the fissures.
"Ashen," Aria called out, her voice tense as she deflected another wave of the Watcher's dark energy. "The obelisk—it's reacting to the fight."
"I know," Ashen replied, his eyes darting between the looming Abyssal Alpha and the enigmatic Watcher. "We have to end this before it breaks completely."
Ashen tightened his grip on his staff, his mind racing to devise a plan. "Pyro, you focus on the Alpha! Keep it away from the rest of us. Aria and I will deal with the Watcher!"
"Got it!" Pyro yelled, dashing forward with his blazing sword. "You better not take too long, though. This thing's stronger than it looks!"
The Alpha lunged at Pyro, its claws raking through the air with deadly precision.
