[The day when Takahashi Mito was denied the inheritance of Dr Eric.]
In the afternoon, Takahashi Mito was standing at the bus stop waiting for the bus to the countryside to arrive.
After waiting for a few hours, numbing his legs. He decided to take a good look at the mirror monsters that were roaming around him to pass some time.
'Grunts with warped, ghost-like faces and are clad in light-blue.' [Dorodoros]
'A weird dragon type lizard with dragon heads as hands." [Nosakamata]
'An ugly round headed beasts with chainsaw claws?!' [Zorima]
'A green coloured humanoid insect with pincer claws on its right hand and a hoodie on its head.' [Worms from Decade]
{The words in the [ ] are for the readers only.}
"They do have a variety of them but why are they surrounding me? Don't they have something else to do?"
Takahashi Mito quietly mumbled as he looked at the mirror monsters in the mirror at the bus stop. They were all surrounding him and seem to be laughing.
"And this hateful Extrasensory Perception is killing me. It would have been better if it never turned on."
He was being irritated by the noises that seem like they were laughing at him along the various smell and taste that he was feeling on his tongue.
"Should I just transform and end them? But isn't that what that God wants?"
*Hmph*
"I can endure a little more. If I can't then, I will just transform and kill them."
Takahashi Mito said to himself.
"Huh?"
"Where are they going?"
He doesn't know what happened but all the mirror monsters began to ran towards the inner archway, possibly the same street where he encountered the evil soul restaurants.
?
"Why did they suddenly move?"
He wondered but on another thought, decided to ignore it. He had already made his mind that he was not going to involve himself in all this scuff.
'At least it's quiet and peaceful now.'
Another hour passed and still no sign of the bus. Takahashi Mito was still sitting at the bus stop, feeling dejected and hungry.
This was not normal. He should have been able to get a bus and yet he hadn't. Something was definitely wrong here.
"I should go to another bus stop. Should I just walk my way to the countryside. I should be able to."
"Excuse me, have you seen this girl?"
A young lady asked him from the side while showing a picture.
Mito looked at her and then above her head. She was an "Innocent soul".
"You mean the little girl who threw a candy at me in the morning? She had pigtails and a small pink skirt with a violet top today? If she is your daughter then I do have seen her in the morning, around four, four to five hours ago."
Takahashi Mito replied.
The lady looked at him closely. As if waiting for more answers.
"Is there any problem?"
Mito asked.
"I can't find her. She had gone to her swimming classes in the morning but still hasn't returned." [Young lady.
"And?" [Takahashi Mito]
"Her classes ended two hours ago and her teacher and her friends said that she had got off the bus on this stop two hours ago." [The young lady]
"But she hasn't come home. Her friends said that she was talking about a person she met at the bus stop during the swimming class." [The young lady]
"What are you getting to miss?"
Mito asked with a heavy voice. He was sure that he was somehow forcefully involved into something stupid.
"I am not blaming you, it's just that I can't find her. I, I have already asked all of her friends and they said that she got off the bus at this stop two hours ago but she hasn't come home. Where can she be?"
The young lady seemed lost and hysterical as she said that.
"Miss, you sentences are a bit jumbled and hard to understand. It should be-"
"Your daughter left home in the morning for her swimming classes, at the bus stop she met me then got on the bus and went to her classes."
"After her classes ended, which was around two hours ago, she once again took the bus to reach this stop and got off at this stop and went towards her home, as told by her friends who probably saw her from the bus."
"So after you found out that your daughter still hasn't returned from her classes, you must have called either the teacher or instructor, or her friends, to ask about her."
"They must have told you that your daughter had already left. So you must have been searching for her till now. You body reeks of sweat as a result."
"After not finding her in the past hour, you must have called her friends or swimming instructer for more information."
"One of her friends must have told you about how your daughter said that she met a weird looking young man and gave him candy. After that, you may have immediately ran to the bus stop to find me."
"So let me give you a proper advice. Immediately report it to the police and ask them to check the CCTV footages of the surrounding areas. It might be a case of child kidnapping or something worse. Don't waste your time here or on me."
"I don't want to panic you or anything but please heed my advice. And I wasn't paying attention during the past two hours so I haven't seen your daughter get off the bus. I am sorry that I am of no help to you."
Takahashi Mito immediately calmed his mind and thought of the possible scenarios.
He didn't want to be arrested as a child kidnapper or something else for a kidnapping that he didn't even commit.
It was simple, he guessed it according to the most common crimes, be it murder or organ trafficking or child trafficking or just plain ra_pes , all of them involved kidnapping/abduction.
The woman was unable to process his words and stood blankly.
"You must be a young mother, right? I don't want to hurt your feelings but you are one of those teenage mistake mothers without a husband, right?"
"That's more the reason that you should immediately report to the police. Many times, abduction are often done by people who usually have some sort of connection to the victims be it someone from the family, a relative, neighbours, or someone else who knew that your daughter's daily routine."
"So please hurry, you daughter might not have that much time."
Takahashi Mito plainly said what he wanted to and chose to sat on the metal bench.
The woman stood blankly for a moment and then turned around to leave.
Takahashi Mito didn't look at her face or the emotions that she was showing through her eyes.
He knew them but chose to ignore it.
He just wanted to clean his name and to make her accept reality that her daughter may have already been...
"It is better to accept some things than to mule and waste your whole life for. Personal experience really sucks."
Mito mumbled with disdain and continued to wait for the bus.
Takahashi Mito was still sitting at the bus stop waiting for his bus.
He would have already been sitting on one of he hadn't missed it due to the not finding a good place to eat.
"I already haven't eaten for a whole day, why couldn't I wait a few more hours? Stupid."
"Why do the buses for countryside only runs once every six hours?"
And soon thirty minutes passed.
The bus that was to come 15 minutes ago wasn't in sight.
"Now What HappENED??"
Mito gritted his teeth while his face was showing visible anger.
He asked some passerbys and finally got the answer from one of them.
The bus was destroyed in a bomb blast by some villains.
"Hmm😐😑😶. In the morning, I lost my inheritance, then was thrown out of the house and then little girl suddenly talked to me out of all the people present in the bus stop, then I missed my bus and I was nearly involved in a child kidnapping case and now my bus is destroyed and I have to wait for another six hours."
"Hmm😀, no matter how many times I think, He(God) is playing with me!"
Mito said with a smile, a smile that showed his rage.
"So that's how you want to play huh? I surrender then. I am just going to live in some outer part of the city, away from the human contact. That should be fine with you, right?"
Takahashi Mito said with defeat. He wasn't a coward, he just knew that someone who had the power to create a universe just to punish him, no matter what he did... He could never win against him.
The only thing that he can do is to find some loopholes and grey areas to have some sort of freedom in his life.
He already seemed to have found one, he could find more later on.
