Jayce felt his body decompress once he realized that there was no danger, yet it compressed again, this time from anger from abusing his soul for apparently no reason.
Why did he suddenly think that Amaya was sneaking out rather than being snatched by something supernatural?
It was because of the stupid smug expression on her face that radiated idiocy.
Only an idiot would celebrate escaping when they had only made it to the other side of the fence. If any of the guards spotted her, they would immediately send everyone out, and she definitely wouldn't be able to escape then.
'I'll follow her just to make sure she isn't doing anything stupid,' Jayce said inwardly as he kept his cloak of darkness but deactivated the rest of his skills.
Putting very little force into his legs, Jayce silently jumped over the tall fence. Using his dark magic, he created a small platform, allowing him to land without making very much noise.
'She really is an idiot,' Jayce thought.
