"Mr. Bertram, is there still some food and wine left? I received an invitation and hurried right over, but the journey was too far, and I arrived late."
A voice tinged with a hint of northwest sandstorm came from outside the door. Mr. Bertram lowered his head and laughed: there was indeed plenty of food and wine he had prepared left!
"General Harrison, please come in." Mr. Bertram warmly opened the door, and a northwest "old man" who looked much older than his actual age walked in. He didn't stand on ceremony; after exchanging greetings with Mr. Bertram, he sat down in an empty seat and started eating and drinking heartily.
