Gwen had passed out after that. She had been taken into the room immediately to be taken care of.
She laid on the bed, murmuring Zyon’s name in her semiconscious state while Zezi told the doctor who was now attending to her of her pregnancy; a doctor who looked back at her with the most perplexed look wondering how to reveal the quite shocking news he had.
Zezi was trying to escape from Nicholas to go to Valerick, standing firmly on the argument that Zyon had been set up. He couldn’t possibly be the one to have killed her mother, he never even really knew her, and there was no motive behind his action. Also, he couldn’t be the one to have eliminated those vampires; one of the Lords had reported it, one who was supposed to be like a father to him.
Something was definitely wrong.
