This was the Dark Void, a space within the Heavenly Planar World, but it was a void within the Heavenly Realm, so there was no sense of direction here.
Just as he was about to emerge from this planar void, he suddenly froze because, unbeknownst to him, Thunderbolt Beads had appeared out of nowhere in front of him.
