After further inspection turned up nothing, Ling Feng stood up and left the woods, then walked towards the school entrance while dialing Chen Ping's number.
"Boss, I've finished checking. Found nothing!"
Chen Ping: "..."
After a moment of silence, he finally spoke, "If you found nothing, why are you calling me? Keep looking!"
"No, the situation is like this: a student discussed with me and suspects that a creature has come to Earth. It does feel a bit like that. The thing left a faint footprint, then nothing else. How am I to investigate this? The creature might've already flown far off!" Ling Feng said with a bitter smile.
"Don't worry, if anyone left, the Security Agency would have detected it. Even if it's an extraterrestrial visitor, they haven't left that area!" Chen Ping stated.
Ling Feng was stunned, "How do you know that?"
"The higher-ups have ways to find out. If it's a person, they should still be in the school. Continue your investigation!" Chen Ping instructed.
