Chapter 2 - Chapter 2 - Race Creation

"I want to be a dragon descendant like the Manakete but with an unlimited lifespan!" Rem immediately requested with an excited voice.

"Denied." Mire quickly replied instantly making Rem demoralized.

"Then a different race but has a an unlimited lifespan!" Rem said after a few seconds.

"Denied!" Mire shouted this time.

"But, why!?" Rem shouted with frustration.

"Because even I has not achieved immortality. You might think I'm immortal but I just reverse and stop the time of my body in principle, which makes me revert my old body to a young one." Mire explains.

"Hmm... then teach me how to do it, and are there any disadvantages with this magic or technique?"

"There is one disadvantage to this which is the SP you need to use will be huge in a sense. Even if I teach this to you only those who has huge amounts of SP can execute it like the other first dragons. Another requirement is to have an affinity to time. Completing this will make it so that your body will stop the aging of your cells and body without hindering your growth but it has a heavy burden on the usage of SP so I can't use powerful skills like the other first dragons since I'm constantly using this skill to not age." Mire said with an arrogant smile.

"Hmm... If I chose to be a descendant of yours, will I be able to have affinity to time?" Rem asked.

"Yes, but even then the required SP you need won't be sufficient. I think even if you use all of lifespan you has a Manakete won't be enough for you grow strong to use this skill." Mira said.

"Is there other ways for me to achieve immortality like yours?" Rem asked desperately since that was his target for a long time.

"Well, there is but that method is very cruel. It is by sucking the life force of other people to increase your lifespan. It's not like my skill since that skill would need you to kill others. I know about that skill, and I can teach you. Using this skill though might make you the enemy of the whole world. I don't care about you using this skill since I'm basically just a bystander of the world which watches it since I'm just bored." Mire answered.

"I think making the world chaotic will make you happier since it will have more action compared to a peaceful one. I think that is your goal in letting me learn this skill. Am I right, Mire?" Rem asked with a sly smile.

"You caught me but I'm sure you'll still take this offer I'm giving you." Mire said mirroring the smile Rem has.

"Great. Please teach me the two skills you've mentioned, oh great Mire." Rem said while giving a bow.

"Pft- I won't teach you my skill but only the other one. It's called Ascended Lifetaker, it's like the upgraded Lifetaker skill but this time you can only take the lifespan of others that you have killed, and everyone will give you a different increase in lifespan. The stronger the person you use this skill on, the higher the lifespan you'll get. Also, you can only use this skill once a month since it uses the power of your soul not your SP." Mire explains then bestows the skill to Rem.

Rem glowed once more, and this time Rem learned everything on how to execute this skill. He didn't understand the concept behind the skill but only know the way to execute it.

"Now then, let's go back to your race." Mire said after bestowing Rem the Ascended Lifetaker skill.

"Just give me a race that is humanoid, and has the longest lifespan." Rem said.

"Alright then, in the time when we 12 first dragons was born, there was this race called the Hellfire Wolfskin. They are proficient in using fire spells and having the ability to transform their body to werewolf, they're attacks are so powerful since it contains physical and magical attacks. This race also does not need any beaststone to transform. They can perfectly control each of their bodies to partially transform or fully transform into a werewolf. If you chose this race then you'll have an added personal skill which is called Hellskin. This skill makes them heal when in contact with flames also any damage they receive is reduced by a fourth. With this skill together with your Divine Shield skill makes you negate 3/4 of the damage. This race though is still weaker compared to a dragon's descendant." Mire explains. Rem already expected that he'll gain another skill from the race he'll be picking. At first he wanted to pick the Manakete race since it might give him the Dragonskin skill but this will also do since this race has the highest lifespan he can get.

"You know, I don't care about those things. I only care about the lifespan that I will receive if I chose this race." Rem said with an uninterested face.

"Sheesh, so much for explaining about the race. The lifespan of this race is between 12,000 to 15,000 years. It's only a bit higher compared to the Manakete race which the most that I can do. You should already be thankful by this since I'm using more of my powers because of this. Thankfully, I can get this all by just by spending hundreds of years." Mira said with a frown.

"Then, I'll be choosing this race. As for my birth place, I want to be born at Mount Garou since that will be the place where the Wolfskin are. I can't be born to the other places then since I'll be having the characteristics of a Wolfskin." Rem said.

"That's true. I'll just make you be born as the son of the leader of the tribe." Mire nodded as he refills the now empty cup with tea.

"That will be appreciated. What part of time will I'll be born then?" Rem asked.

"Since I can control time and space, I plan to give you 30 years before the start where Corrin will chose between the three paths. I won't be speaking which path will it be so that I can be entertained further." Mira said.

"What's the boons and banes of my body? Also, will the stats have limits in how much one can increase it?" Rem asked further before he was reincarnated.

"Oh yeah, the boons and banes have to be given. You go choose a boon but I won't be giving you a bane as another gift. As for the stat limit, let's just say that the race you've chosen has no limits of growth. So, what bane will you chose?" Mire sipped his cup of tea after.

"What base growth am I following then? Can you show me the base growth that I'll be having without the bane or boon?" Rem asked curiously.

"Will be following the base growth of the Hellfire Wolfskin." Mire simply responded then showed me a screen of light which has written data on it.

[ Hellfire Wolkskin's Growth Rates

HP: 80%

SP: 80%

Str: 80%

Mag: 80%

Skl: 50%

Spd: 60%

Lck: 35%

Def: 60%

Res: 60%]

"Ain't this too much?" I asked with awe since growth rates has no boons yet added to it. It basically guarantees that my HP, SP, Str, and Mag is increased per each level up.

"Well that is the perk of being a Hellfire Wolkskin. So which boon will you choose?" Mire asked again.

"I think I'll be needing extra luck on my side. Having a Lucky boon might help me since it will give me 4 plus luck to my base stats directly and a 25 percent growth rate will be added. I'll go with this to balance out my growth rates." Rem finally said after a few minutes of pondering.

"Then you're all set to go. Do you have any more questions needed to be answered before you go?" Mire asked.

"I want to ask about how to change of classes, and if how many are the slots for equipped skills for every person?" Rem asked after a minute of arranging his thoughts.

"To change classes one has to fulfill certain conditions. Like you being a Hellfire Wolfskin has fulfilled the condition to change into a Hellfire Wolfskin class and advance into a Hellfire Wolfssegner class. As for changing classes into a Cavalier, Knight, Mercenary, Ninja and the like, you'll be needing to have a trainer for that and some other requirements. Or you can also change classes by getting items that can help you change into one but that would be hard to acquire even for you."

"As for the skill slots, there are no limits to it. Once you learn a skill then it will be retained and can be used anytime so be careful of other people since they might have 20 skills for all you know." Mire said with a chuckle.
