"Where's Elder Oro?" One of the men asked as they lay down Nyx on a unoccupied bed.
"She's resting. Just leave her here, we'll handle the rest." Ven replied as she and Hane started treating Nyx.
"Alright, we'll be going then." One of the men scratched his ear as he went outside together with the other three.
"Poor girl, what beast could have done this to her?" Hane asked as she cleans the blood out of Nyx's body.
"I'll be going out of the tribe for now. I'll scout the area to see if the attacker of the girl is still around. It might affect the tribe badly if their are unknown threats lingering around us." Sean says as he went out of the house.
"Be careful out there..." Hane whispered so quietly that Ven almost didn't hear it.
"It's not you to worry about Sean like that, Hane." Ven smiled sheepishly at Hane.
"Who says I'm worried about that midget!? Hmph!" Hane's face was red with a frown.
'Hane is such a tsun tsun.' Rem thought.
'Nyx... Why would she be here at this place? I almost forgot that Nyx is a old person despite her appearance. In the game, she was always saying that she was older than she looks and that she was only cursed because of her action in the past. The curse of eternal youth, this was also the reason why she is distant to others. The question now though, should I kill her now or not? She mentions in the game before that she was always doing evil things like killing innocent people. I don't know if she's still like that at this time though.' Rem pondered as he looks over Nyx.
'The game stated that Nyx was a talented and powerful dark mage that was unseen from the history. She was so powerful that she started using her magic on innocent people. She found joy in doing those acts that one day she casted a powerful dark spell that backfired at her. A forbidden spell that was to great even for her which killed most of the villager in one fell swoop. The consequence of this magic is that the spell stole the victims' life energy or force for her, and this made her not physically age forever. That was the start of her curse.'
'Though I think the effect of curse is not only eternal youth but also sealing some of Nyx' powers. I mean, if she was still the powerful dark mage that she was then she should have been able to handle most of Corrin's problem. She was so weak when she joined the army of Corrin.'
"I feel something dark from that girl." Oro says as she gets out of her room making the three surprise from her sudden arrival.
"What do you mean, Elder Oro?" Ven asked.
"I just feel like their is a dark energy engulfing that girl's body. It's like chains are tying her down." Oro commented.
"...Is letting her stay here a bad omen, Elder?" Ven asked making her cautious of Nyx.
"I don't know... but I think it's best for us to let her out of the tribe as soon as she gets healed back." Oro suggested.
"Can't she stay for a little while, Grandma?" Rem asked. He wanted to see if he can recruit Nyx. The girl was distant and cold to others but the truth is she wants the comfort of others too. If he failed to recruit her, then he'll let her go.
"It's dangerous for the tribe to let her stay here with us, my little Kein."
"But Grandma look at her injuries. She must at least stay for a few weeks to heal." Rem replied making Oro think about it.
"You're too nice for your own good, little Kein. I guess I'll let her stay for a bit... but if she do anything suspicious, I'll kick her out personally." Oro left after saying that.
"Thank you, Grandma!" Rem shouted as he hugs the leaving Oro. This made the old woman chuckle while shaking her head.
"You're spoiling Kein too much, Elder." Sean commented as he enters the house.
"What? Do you want me to spoil you instead, bratty Sean?" Oro teased as she hits his head with her crane.
"Ouch! Why are you so mean to me, Elder?" Sean pouted as he caress the spot that Oro hit.
"Hehehe it joys me when I hit you with my crane. So, how is your investigation outside? Did you find any beast or danger lingering outside?" Oro asked.
"Nothing but just a group of wolves wandering outside, I already killed them up and told the guards to take the corpses here. It's extra meat for the tribe."
"Hmmm... Maybe I thought wrong about the girl. She might be weaker than I expected if she got injured by a bunch of wolves." Oro muttered.
"Thought wrong? What do you mean, Elder?" Sean asked.
"I just feel this dangerous vibe coming from the girl. I thought that a powerful beast might be around us since I felt danger from her but I guessed wrong." Oro answered.
"This girl, dangerous? I think not." Sean said as he looks at the frail body of Nyx.
"Appearances can be deceiving sometimes, bratty Sean. Don't ever underestimate others based on their looks." Oro scolds Sean as she proceeded to hit him again with her crane.
"There, she's all healed up." Ven says as she stretches her arms.
"You four may go now. Let the girl stay here, I'll take care of her." Oro said as she shoos Rem and the others away.
"Can we visit again tomorrow, Grandma?" Rem asked as they went outside.
"Of course. For now, let's give the girl the rest she needs. I'll tell some of the tribesmen to call you once she wakes up if that's what you want." Oro suggested making Rem nod.
"I won't allow you to visit her until you finish your training tomorrow, Kein." Sean butted in.
"Ughh training again. Can't you give me another day of rest?" Rem showed Sean his puppy eyes.
"Nope~" Sean answered making Rem pout.
"Why do I have a training maniac as a trainer?" Rem complained but soon smiled after a few seconds.

Effect: Augment weapons with dark flames making the Mt of weapon currently equipped deal 1.5 times the damage. It also increases the damage dealt to beast and horse riding units by 2 times of the Mt of the current weapon equipped. Can be turned on and off. When on, it will cost 1 SP per hour.]
'Does this mean that when I used my Beaststone then I'll be dealing 9 damage instead of 6. It also further increases the damage when I attack a horse riding opponent or beast, making it increase to 18 damage. This does not include the Strength I have and the Hellfire Shaped skill. With those two, I'll be dealing more damage. I feel sorry for those beast and horse riding units.' Rem's smile grew wider by every minute passing.
"Why are you smiling like a devil, Kein?" Sean asked shivering from the greedy fat merchant smile that Rem currently has.
"Huh? It's nothing." Rem woke up from his current state and just whistled and skipped while going back to their home.
"I think you're infecting the young master to be a training maniac like you, midget." Hane said as she shook her head with disapproval.
"That will be great if that happens then, flat woman." Sean retorts.
"Ughh, it's not a great thing, idiot. I won't let you infect the young master further." Hane replies as she punches Sean's shoulder.
"Ow! Why are you so barbaric? This may be the reason why you don't have a boyfriend until now." Hane punched Sean consecutively after hearing him.
"You're one to talk. I may be barbaric but at least I don't have a stinky mouth. I'm not even mentioning your height yet but with your mouth, no girl will be interested in you." Hane retorted making Sean start a war with her.
"Oh yeah? Your chest is so flat that carpenters will take inspiration to it to make a great flat road."
"Why you!" Hane got so mad from Sean's remark that she started pulling his hair.
"Ow! Stop it!" Sean shouted as he runs away from Hane.
"This two would never change. Why don't they just admit that like one another? It's obvious with how much attention they're giving each other. *Sigh* Makes me wonder when I'll meet someone I'll be interested in." Ven whispers as she looks over the two while holding Rem's hand.
'Which class should I choose? Maybe, I should just go promote into a Hellfire Wolfssegner, that class will increase my stats tremendously.' While they are busy, Rem was thinking about the class he should change into.
