Su Mo felt as if he were hacking at a steel wall with a kitchen knife, his hand numbed by the massive recoil that almost made the Super Alloy Blade slip from his grasp.
However, the Energy Barrier didn't budge at all.
Su Mo's face was as incredulous as if he had seen a ghost. Was this Energy Barrier really that tough? Reluctantly, he reached out to Karn over the communication channel.
"What's going on? Why can't we break through their Energy Barrier?"
Karn was silent for a few seconds before responding.
"Do you see the connecting lines on the back of that mecha? Those lines link to the entire Planet Fortress. They can continually draw energy from the entire Fortress. In theory, as long as the energy of the Planet Fortress isn't depleted, its Energy Barrier won't be shattered."
On hearing Karn's words, not just Su Mo, but also Lin Ming and the others were dumbstruck.
