"Lucian, that's enough," Ethan spoke, nudging at his intoxicated friend.
"It's true. I hate the sight of her face. It angers me. Why can't she just disappear?"
As Lucian said those harsh words, Valerie silently stared at him before deciding to leave. She wasn't foolish. She understood what he intended to do, and Valerie had no wish of playing along with his antics.
However, the next words from him made her halt in he' steps.
Lucian took a sip out of the alcoholic drink in front of him and vocalized, "Ugh! This seriously ruined my mood! Let's go out for a drive. Who is joining me? Follow me."
Following that, Lucian stood up, walking outside, and he had his equally drunk friends behind him. None of them were in the right state to make a proper decision. Valerie went after them.
As Lucian was about to open the door to his car, Valerie acted by shutting the door to the vehicle and staring at him sternly. She then said, "You can't drive now. You are drunk. I will take you home."
