"You know, it's kind of shocking," Professor Kang spoke, "To think Akira would be close to someone other than Asahi."
"Eh? What are you talking about? Mr. Akira is a social person. I'm sure he has a lot of friends."
For a second there, Akira almost felt as if Professor Kang had laughed at his words.
"He might be social but he isn't really that extroverted. He almost never talks about himself with others. If he told you about the painting, it means you are special."
"..." For some reason, Akira felt a little guilty as he heard this.
"Did you know he came all the way over here just for Asahi?" Professor Kang chuckled as he spoke, "It reminded me of my younger self. I didn't always plan on coming to Japan. I just fell in love and decided to leave everything behind and run after her."
Akira almost choked on empty air as he heard this, "How are they the same? You chased after someone you loved and he... Well, he's just an idiot who was afraid of losing his only friend."
