"I wonder where I can go?"
Lily recieved an email from a flight app that she follows, it contains new information on cheap return flights.
Lily has always had a wonderlust heart, wanting to travel and see new places no matter where they may be, but she kept putting it off whether it be due to family issues, relationships or money. After going through some difficult times recently, she decided to take a trip wherever she could and this email contained the perfect opportunity she'd been looking for. On the app there was a list of places to visit including France, Spain, Italy, Turkey, Greece and many more. They all had return flights priced between £10 and £100, the one that stood out however was the return flights to Rome for £10.
The reason why Rome stood out was because one of Lillys colleagues had been talking about there trip to Rome during their shifts together, after listening to her colleague go on and on about her intended plans whilst in Rome Lilly couldn't help but be interested.
Lilly had made up her mind that she was going to go on this trip no matter what even if she had to go alone, but she still wanted to be able to experience new things and share her happy moments with someone. The first person that came to her mind was her friend Grace who she had been friends with since primary school. Her friend Grace is a bit of an anxious person that has never flown before and stuggles with panic attacks from time to time, but Lilly knew she had been getting better and thought it would be great for her to try something new.
So Lilly sent a text to her friend;
"How would you feel about going to Rome at the end of April?".
It took a day for Grace to reply which wasn't unusual for her, but it made Lilly a little anxious as she thought it was a long shot she would go.
Grace replied with;
"Randome request 😂".
Lilly wasn't surprised with her reply so she started to give her the run down of the cost for the flights, how long the stay would be and the dates to go.
"Sounds great to be honest, we need to meet up to talk logistics, hotel etc. Not gonna lie its making me super nervous" Grace replied.
"I thought it was. I don't want to push you into anything. I think it would be fun and exciting. It's not a long trip either plus cheap 😊" Lilly replied, trying to be convincing and not pushy. They continued to chat to find a date and time they could both meet up.
