Dom sighed as he entered into the house. He instantly threw his keys on the little desk beside the front door.
"Oh, welcome back oh lovely brother of mine." Lulu laughed at the bottom of the stairs, clearly she was here to be his welcoming party, a welcoming party that he did not want.
"Just leave me alone, I'm not talking to you." Dom sulked walking past her.
"And what's gotten you in such a bad mood?" Lulu asked, she followed after Dom and he ignored her.
"Hey, earth to Dom, look at me, why are you in such a foul mood?" Lulu asked.
"Are you alright? You literally purposely reported me to Natasha so she would insist that I leave." he said clearly annoyed.
"And you're upset just because of that?" Lulu asked confused.
"Are you alright?! It's not just because of that, I'm hungry, so hungry, and you guys have finished all the food and Alfred's not here, so I'm probably going to have to eat juice, crackers and bread for dinner." he whined.
"Gosh, since when did you get so concerned about food, if you're that hungry, I could make you something." Lulu replied.
"It's not the same! Your food won't taste as good as Natasha's." Dom replied.
"Ouch, real nice Dom, way to insult my cooking right in my face." she said clearly not pleased.
"Hey, you tell the truth, your cooking is not that good." Dom said as they both walked into the kitchen.
"I know, but you didn't have to rub it in my face like that." Lulu exclaimed.
"Whatever." Dom scoffed.
"Anyway, I don't know why you're so annoyed, Alfred is at grandfather's, most of the maids have used their breaks for summertime, so Natasha told Alfred that she would take over the cooking, so you'll have plenty more chances to eat her delicious cooking." Lulu said.
"You know it's still not the same, her delicious fried rice is gone." Dom sounded like he was about to cry.
"Oh get a grip of yourself man, your life won't lose meaning if you didn't eat her fried rice just once in your life." Lulu scoffed.
"Oh yes it does! You can afford to say that because you've eaten your fill!" he responded.
"You know what, you're right, I have eaten my fill, and I am mighty glad that I have." Lulu said holding her stomach.
"Can you hear that, it's the sound of deliciousness." she said jiggling her stomach as it made a sloshing sound.
"Clearly you're just here to eat my food and drink the water that my hard earned money pays for." Dom said enraged.
"Of course, that's why I'm here, not because I love my family and I look after my niece and make my annoying brother and his lovely wife laugh." she replied.
"Hey, hey, hey, what's going on in here, what's wrong with the two of you?" Natasha asked frowning as she walked into the kitchen.
"Joy's in the living room watching tv, you guys sound like fighting animals." she said.
"I'm sorry Natasha, it's just Dom being a jerk because he's grumpy from not eating all day." Lulu replied.
"Oh, right, and I wonder whose fault that is." Dom scoffed.
"You're not going to go there again, what happened to you being the older more mature one in all this?" Lulu asked.
"That was all thrown out the window when you vindictively made sure I wouldn't eat anything." he replied.
"Hold on a minute, you two are still arguing about food?" Natasha asked.
"Yes." Lulu replied.
"Not just any food, your food." Dom replied.
"For the love of all things sensible, you two can be really annoying sometimes." Natasha scoffed, she walked to the microwave and brought out a plate of food.
"Are you serious right now?" she asked.
"Of course I made sure to save you some food." she said as she heated it.
"You did?" Dom asked surprised, he did not know what was more shocking, the fact that Natasha was kind enough to leave him some food, or that he and Lulu had been arguing when the solution to his problems was just a step away.
"Of course I did, you don't think that I would purposely let you go hungry, after all Alfred is indisposed, and I assured him I would take care of the cooking, besides, I knew that Lulu would deliberately finish all the food, so I saved you some." Natasha explained.
"Oh Natasha, you're a lifesaver, thank you so much." he said, he almost hugged her and jumped for joy.
"Save it, and you Lulu, you didn't have to be mean, you do know that I can easily tell when you're being mischievous." Natasha said.
"Ha, ha, of course I know you do, can you blame me? I just wanted to give Dom a taste of his own medicine." Lulu replied.
"Since when did I starve you or deprive you of food?" he asked.
"Not in food, in other things." she replied.
"I'm not even going to listen to you anymore Lulu." Dom replied as Natasha brought out his meal and handed it to him.
From the moment he held his food in his hand, his mouth and eyes watered from the delectable aroma. He did not even waste a second, he got a spoon and dug right in. His mouth melted in flavour as he did.
"Mhmm, mhmm, now this is the memory of my early adulthood." he exclaimed as he ate.
Natasha shook her head and laughed, she could not lie, it was a nice feeling to see people go crazy over her food.
"Do you know how suspicious that sounds?" Lulu said.
"I don't have your time Lulu, I'm too busy eating this delicious meal." he replied.
"Natasha, you know what, maybe you should open a restaurant, because no one cooks this as good as you did." Dom said.
"That's really nice of you to say, but I'm not a chef, I know my lane and I'll stay in it." she replied.
"That's good, so only we will ever have the privilege to taste your wonderful meals." Lulu said as Natasha laughed.
"You two are the same, going bonkers for food." Natasha said.
"Hey, a man as got to eat, and this is my second meal of the day." Dom said his mouth partly full.
"Hey, slow down, stop eating so fast, your going to choke." Lulu said as she brought him a glass of water which he chugged down instantly.
"I don't want you to die, if you die, I'll be forced to move out of this house and take over the company." Lulu said dreadfully.
"Of course, you're so lazy you don't ever want that to happen." Dom said, his feeding frenzy seemed to finally be over. He placed the plate on the counter as well as the glass of water and continued to eat like a normal person.
"Hey, some of us hate responsibility and we are just fine with that." Lulu replied unashamedly.
"Thank you for this meal Natasha, seriously." Dom said as he smiled at her.
"You don't have to thank me, I'm sure Joy would be upset with me if I didn't feed her father." Natasha replied with a scoff.
"True that, she's your mini defender." Lulu laughed as Dom shook his head.
"Speaking of responsibility, why did you leave work so early?" Dom asked.
"I finished all my tasks for the day, and luckily I did because I was just in time to help Alfred when he hurt himself." Lulu replied.
"Hmm, so what is the plan? Since Alfred's not here, who is going to clean the house, make breakfast, lunch and dinner, and most importantly watch over Joy." Dom said worried.
"Well I think we should all clean our rooms by ourselves and take turns cleaning downstairs." Lulu said as Natasha nodded.
"I agree with that, and I've already said I would make all the meals." Natasha said.
"Are you sure about that?" Dom asked.
"What do you mean?" she asked.
"Well it's going to be a huge changing having to make all three meals." Dom said.
"How about I make breakfast on some certain days, and you can take care of the rest?" Dom asked.
"Ooh, that's a good idea, Dom's right, that's too much for one person, I can make lunch too." Lulu said.
"Well, I don't think it's that hard, but if you insist, you guys can handle breakfast and lunch, even though you're a bad cook." Natasha said pointing at Dom.
"Ha, ha, I'm not that bad at cooking, I can make good eggs." Dom said as Lulu laughed at him.
"Ahh, I see, so we should be prepared to eat eggs for breakfast for the entirety that Alfred is recovering." Natasha said as Lulu continued laughing.
"Whatever, you'll see, my eggs will blow you away." Dom said.
"No, probably they will chase us away." Lulu laughed as Natasha could not help but snicker as well.
