Natasha walked downstairs, she put her phone in her pocket and proceeded to grab her keys of the table.
"You're leaving already?" Lulu asked walking out of the kitchen.
"Mhmm, Joy is still asleep, I can't wait for her to wake up if I want to get back home early." Natasha replied putting her hair up into a ponytail.
"Yeah, she did stay up way too late last night." Lulu laughed as Natasha laughed as well.
"You don't have to worry, I have everything under the control you and Dom should enjoy your day." Lulu smiled.
"I know you do Lulu, thank you." Natasha said giving her a quick hug and kiss on the cheek.
She did trust her and she was sure she would take care of Joy as if she was her own child, and that was more than enough to put Natasha's heart at ease.
"You don't have to thank me, see you later." Lulu smiled waving at her.
"See you later." Natasha waved back before leaving and closing the door behind her.
Lulu sighed and smiled, she had the whole house to herself, and Joy of course.
Lulu walked to her bedroom and brought down her laptop. She sat in the living room waiting for Joy to wake up while she got some work done.

Joy yawned and rubbed her eyes, she squirmed in her bed and sleepily got up. She walked into her bathroom and brushed her teeth and then she rushed downstairs.
"Aunt Lulu!" Joy called excitedly storming into the living room.
"Joy!!" Lulu shouted back as she put her laptop aside and Joy jumped on her.
"Good morning Aunt Lulu." Joy smiled as she hugged her.
"Good morning oh dear niece of mine, how are you?" Lulu asked.
"I'm good Aunt Lulu, just a bit sad that my mommy and daddy are not here again, they left before I woke up." Joy frowned.
"Aww, not to worry, they will spend time with you soon, but for now, you need to fill that little tummy of yours with some breakfast." Lulu said pretending to eat Joy's tummy making her giggle.
"Yes, yes, I am hungry, what is for breakfast?" Joy giggled.
"Well lucky for you, your dear daddy made breakfast and can you guess what he prepared?" Lulu asked as Joy seemed to be thinking.
"Hmmm.... eggs?" Joy asked, that was the only thing she remembered him making for her that one time that her mother was away in Russia for a long time.
"Yep, he made eggs, come on let me go heat it up for you. Do you want hot chocolate or chocolate milk?" Lulu asked as they walked into the kitchen.
"Mhmm both are chocolate, I don't know which is better." Joy giggled.
"You're right about that." Lulu laughed.
"But you still have a choose one." She said.
"Okay the chocolate milk please." Joy said as Lulu brought out a plate of eggs from the microwave.
"Here you go my lovely niece, do you want to eat here or in the dining room?" Lulu asked as she poured her some chocolate milk.
"Can I eat in the living room please?" Joy asked.
"Sure of course you can, come on." Lulu said carrying the plate and glass of chocolate milk in her hands.
"Thank you Aunt Lulu." Joy smiled as she sat on the carpet in the living room.
"You're welcome my dear." Lulu smiled as she went back to her laptop.
Joy ate her eggs and as soon as she did her face contorted into a frown.
"What's wrong?" Lulu asked.
"The eggs are so salty." She said frowning as Lulu laughed.
"I know right, your daddy could not have made saltier eggs." She laughed.
"He's made worse eggs, one time I think he added pepper the last time, it was so spicy, but I had to eat it all because I didn't want to hurt his feelings." Joy laughed.
"I tell you, your daddy does not belong in the kitchen." Lulu said as Joy forced herself to eat her eggs.
"Not to worry my darling, I'm making lunch and it will supplement for this awful breakfast." Lulu said as Joy giggled and drank her chocolate milk.
After Joy finished eating an apologetic breakfast, Lulu told her to go take a shower, which she did and when she was done she rushed back into the living room.
"Aunt Lulu, I'm bored." Joy said as soon as she stepped into the living room.
"Alright, what do you want to do?" Lulu asked closing her laptop.
"Can I go and feed Maggie? She must be so hungry, Alfred usually feeds her when he wakes up but he isn't here." Joy said sadly.
"Of course we can go and feed Maggie." Lulu smiled standing up.
"Yayyyy." Joy said rushing into the garden ahead of Lulu.
...
"Here Maggie." Joy said feeding Maggie some seeds in her hands.
"Be careful Joy, we don't want her to accidentally peck you." Lulu said.
"Okay." Joy replied dropping the seeds on the ground.
"Maggie is really growing up big and strong." Lulu laughed.
"Yes, very soon she will be so big." Joy giggled ruffling her feathers.
"Well I'm bored." Joy turned to Lulu surprising her.
"Already? But we just got out here." Lulu said.
"I know, but it's boring here, can we go out?" Joy asked.
"Out to where?" Lulu asked.
"To the park so I can walk Maggie and she can get some exercise."
"Usually Ethan and I would go walk Maggie and Pluto in the park, but since he's on vacation it's so boring, can you please take me to the park Aunt Lulu, pretty please?" Joy asked batting her cute big, brown doe eyes.
Lulu felt her heart melting, she wanted to say no, for one it was just too early in the day for them to go to the part, but she had to admit Joy was very convincing. It was hard for her to say no.
"Oh alright." Lulu caved in.
"Yayyyyyyyy." Joy jumped around.
"Go put on your sneakers." Lulu said.
"Okay, come on Maggie, we're going to the park." Joy said picking up Maggie and she rushed into the house.
Lulu shook her head and sighed, why was she so soft when it came to Joy.
...
"La, la, la, la." Joy hummed as she played in the playground of the park with Maggie.
Lulu sighed, she felt like she was played. Somehow she felt that Joy knew she would be unable to say no to her, so she got her way.
Lulu was sure that had it been Natasha, she would have put her foot down and suggested that they go to the park later in the day, which was reasonable.
"Oh well, I'm the fun aunt, I don't need to worry about that." Lulu said to herself as she walked to push Joy on the swings while Maggie pecked around.
"Weeee, faster Aunt Lulu, faster." Joy called.
"Alright, if you say so." Lulu said as she pushed Joy harder and she giggled.
"Clearly, I'm the best aunt in the world." Lulu said.
"Yes you are." Joy replied giggling as she nodded.
Lulu heard her phone ring in her pocket and she brought it out only to see it was her brother calling her.
"What's up? Aren't you supposed to be working?" She asked as soon as she answered the call.
"I just wanted to check on you and Joy, how are you guys?" Dom asked.
"Fine as always, we're even in the park right now." Lulu smiled.
"It's eleven pm, how can you guys be at the park so early?" Dom asked.
"Well Joy wanted to go play and walk Maggie and who am I to say no?" Lulu said as she heard Dom chuckle.
"You're lucky I'm the one calling you not Natasha, you know how she doesn't like it when Joy plays too much early in the day." Dom laughed.
"Well unlike you, Natasha does not hate me, she loves me and will understand. It's summer, Joy was bored, she wants to play so I allowed her play." Lulu said.
"Right, so let me remind you that you have to make lunch." Dom said.
"Of course I know that. but lunch isn't until three pm." She replied.
"Not now it isn't don't you know that when children are at home they are more hungry? So you better make lunch by one." Dom laughed.
"Okay, okay, no worries, is that all Mr Bossy?" she asked him.
"Actually there is, stop sticking out your tongue at me, I can see it from all the way here." He said as she scoffed.
"You're super annoying you know that." She said hearing him laugh.
"That's not my problem, see you later." He responded and with that ended the call.
"Who was that Aunt Lulu?" Joy asked sliding down on the slide.
"Oh just your annoying daddy, he's checking on us." Lulu said shaking her head as Joy giggled.
