Other than for the run-in with the pirates, everything had been smooth sailing for the most part, allowing Zeph and Norton Coats to open up the engines of the CV Poseidon's Nemesis and decrease the travel time by several hours, with the only real price being the Quantum Wave Enchantress having to stay surfaced to match the speed that the Nemesis could achieve in calm waters with a relatively light load cargo wise.
If they could maintain the same current average speed then they could arrive at King Crab Cove half a day earlier than the ground transport team instead of a bit later than them based on Norton Coats' latest calculations.
However, weather data was forecasting that both they and the ground transport team could soon face a wicked storm that would force them to alter their course and slow down considerably. But it would still put them on track to reach King Crab Cove around the same time as originally planned for the water transport team, off by a few hours at most.
