As the prayer over the meal came to an end Zeph received two notifications from the Valkyrie Protocol system practically the second he opened his eyes after hearing Ramiel saying amen.
While he had a good idea about what they said already, Zeph was eager to check them as he did see the faint traces of a halo above his head, but even that faint trace was fuzzy and hard to see.
"Thank you for saying the blessings. Remember to pray earnestly and often. The same goes for you as well Prina, nothing says a little demon can't be prayerful."
Ramiel looked at Zeph with an inquisitive gaze.
"Are you perhaps the Black Badge Division's chaplain?"
"No, just a man who finds it impossible to deny the heavens. I can't even call it faith because that word would imply belief and my devotion comes from a place of undeniable proof and not just blind faith. How could I deny the glory of God when I share my bed with angels and sexy little demons?"
