In the cold Sea Eagle Mountains, Sarcos was training with Marco. He was determined to train the Sea Eagle army to kill dragons as a safety precaution. Sarcos knew Marco was strong enough to match the Dragon King by himself if he got the proper technique!
When Sarcos arrived at the Sea Eagle Mountains with Darren, the red dragon, he was steaming angry.
Marco welcomed him coldly even though he was surprised to see a dragon with him, but acted as if nothing happened. But when he noticed Sarcos's unusually angry demeanour, he rather asked."Brother, what could made you so angry? "
"The kind heart of our Queen! The bloody Dragon King came for her and she accepted him to save his undeserving daughter-in-law and son!"Sarcos hissed. He could not stop thinking about Sienna in Dragon King's arms!
"So, you did nothing about it?"Marco bit his lips.
"I would prefer to kill them." Sarcos sighed."But at least she will be immune to the fire now."Sarcos sighed.
"That is good."Marco nodded, remembering that the monster dragon within him wanted to burn Sienna to ashes. He was a little relieved but very worried inside."Tell me what exactly happened?" he asked Sarcos.
Sarcos told Marco quickly what had happened.
"Can I kill him?" the eagle asked Sarcos's innocently.
"Not yet, but you can surely teach him a little lesson," Sarcos nodded thinking." I will show you how."
The strong Scorpion King was still upset about Thunder, but he did not want Sienna to feel bad. It was her decision to make, so he did not fight him..."But if Marco beats him instead, it will still feel good."Sarcos thought revengefully.
"Good, let's do it now then."Marco led Sarcos and Darren to the mountain pass he always used as training grounds. Sarcos trained strong Marco the dragon fighting with the red dragon's help. Darren created strong fire, and Sarcos taught Marco how to pass through unscolded and where to attack... Marco did everything the strong scorpion told him. Sarcos was a good teacher and Marco wanted to be the best!
"You will be natural at this."Sarcos chuckled, "Now look."Scorpion King showed him ancient books about dragons and taught him how to attack under the scaly dragon armour.
Marco's cold eyes lit up..."I did not know the books could be so useful!" he looked at the drawings hungrily.
"Make him suffer, drag his meat out. Shred him! Only don't touch his heart. I might need it later..."Sarcos smiled cruelly. Teaching Marco was a balm for his anger...
" I will, and I take his week with Sienna as well." Marco rasped.
"Good, "Sarcos nodded, "It is too cold there anyway." He chuckled...'" And besides he does not deserve her at all!!" he bit his lips thinking.
Sarcos was very upset about one more thing. Thunder was very cruel when he was convinced about something! When Sarcos left Dragon Castle, he asked the young black dragon to drop him halfway and he went to see Darren in his layer. Darren used to have a big castle before, but after he lost his mate he lived almost as a wild beast, spinning his revenge...
"What are you doing here so early? "The red dragon was surprised to see Sarcos at his layer." I told you my warriors are hibernating," he growled.
"I can't kill the King for now, my Queen decided to help him to get that girl out. She accepted him as her mate."Sarcos said visibly upset.
"But you promised! I want my revenge!" Darren's handsome face froze in a painful grin as the memory flashed in his mind;
On the day of the most opulent Dragon King's banquet, the dragons with their beautiful mates attended to the Thunder's castle to celebrate a big victory after a vicious battle.
They were all relaxed and after court dancing, a meal was served and friendly chatter eloped the room. Just then the rough male voices stopped! Only females talked sweetely, but their mates did not respond! The dragons felt they couldn't move suddenly...
"What is going on?"Darren's golden-haired mate asked in surprise as she held her pregnant belly.
Then Thunder with Dagen brought in the crystal with Sorcha inside...The dragons and their females looked shocked and confused. "What is this?" the females kept asking between themself holding onto their motionless mates. Their males looked like frozen numb!
"So, as you see my son is well again, but Princess Sorcha got stuck inside here!"Thunder touched the amber gently."I need one of you to help. Any volunteers?" he looked at the scared females with the eyes of a crazy predator.
"How to help?"The bravest female asked unsure. She felt something was off!
"I need you to go inside instead of her. Change one for another till I find a better solution."Thunder grinned and took the female's hand strongly. He dragged the first female with golden hair and pulled her towards the crystal. The big red Moon shone on it and the crystal looked as s melted air.
"Go get my daughter-in-law back!", Thunder pushed the female inside. She went in and reached for the girl when she lit up in the blue flames suddenly and her body was gone!
"Another one..."Thunder grabbed the closest still shocked golden-haired female and pushed her inside! She went into flames in seconds!
"No! Stop, Father!" Prince Dagen shook his head..." It clearly does not work for some reason, we should consult someone better...!" he shook his head desperately trying to stop his father.
"Do you want your mate out? This is the way, we have to keep trying!"Thunder bit his lips stubbornly and dragged Darren's mate to the shiny amber.
"Please, no I'm pregnant," she begged, "Darren!" she called her mate's name as she burned in seconds, there was nothing left of her! Darren felt his heart stopped. He just died inside. He was crazy but could do nothing...not even close his eyes from the gory sight!
The Dragon King had no mercy....he pushed another female in, and she got lost in the flames, then another and another one. The paralysed dragons could only watch as their beloved died like flies at the hands of the King they fought for! This was injustice like no other. Pure cruelty and sacrilege!
The Dragon Prince went mad at the sight and the desperate screams of the females... Some even tried to join together to fight the cruel King, but they had no chance. His guards were just restraining them and delivering them to him like bags of potatoes to be roasted into chips!
Dagen could not stand it any more and attacked his father, but was to no use...Thunder was too strong! He chained him in the underground and went to try the rest of the females!
Their desperate mates watched how they all went in blue flames one by one...their screams ripped their hearts apart and a great hatred was born...
The dragons were weaker than their King even if they all attacked him, but after Thunder fished, he locked them in his castle dungeon one by one.
When the dragons got their power back they found out they were chained by magical steel that did not allow them to fully change their form.
They started to roar in pain and hopelessness but Darren stopped them. He knew the King would not let them go free ever again, so he ordered his men to pretend they forgot all about their females from that numbing poison! Thunder believed that in the end because of their indifference, so he let them go. They became his ruthless guards searching for more females for him...plotting their revenge at the right time.
Thunder still could not take Sorcha out so he planted the travelling crystals on the other planets in the hope he would get more golden-haired females, but it was not very successful and he got some strange creatures instead, which he chucked to chimera lands! Sienna found the last of his scattered crystals.
The red dragon lifted his eyes to Sarcos. The right time for revenge was almost here and he let his Queen ruin it!
"How could you let her! He is a monster!"Darren roared upset...He remembered how soft and gentle Sienna was and the unfair jealousy eloped his being.
"I know, I saw everything in the walls!"Sarcos tried to calm the furious dragon.
"It was her decision! She took Sorcha out, it is done." he bit his lips."But my Queen found something you will like."Sarcos rasped to Darren darkly.
"I like only revenge, I'm heartless."Darren shook his head in desperate grief.
"And that is the reason, I will not kill Thunder anyway for now, because I might have a way, how to bring your females back! "Sarcos grinned victoriously.
"What?"Darren's face was in shock, "I saw her burn in that crystal, her body was gone in flames." he grinned at the painful memory again.
"But that amber is full of female souls!"Sarcos said excitedly." My Queen said they were asking her for help, to find the mother! "
"Mother?"Darren asked surprised.
"Mother crystal."Sarcos said wildly."We need to find that mother crystal, it should preserve what was lost. I think their bodies will be frozen in mother crystal..."Sarcos said thinking. "If Sienna could get out Sorcha, she will be able to help you to get your mates back too," he noted.
"What can I do to help?"Darren's eyes lit up feverishly. All his being shifted from revenge to salvaging his lost mate now!
"Send everyone to look for it! It is of utmost importance."Sarcos nodded.
"But what about the King?"Darren growled.
"I will make him suffer for sure, he would wish to be dead."Sarcos smiled.
"What if your Queen protests?"Darren asked curiously.
"She would never find out."Sarcos grinned.
"But still, you should go back. Do not trust him with her!"Darren bit his lips. He doesn't mind going over the laws!"
"Hm," Sarcos was thinking."I think we will need some backup for sure. I will teach Marco and his army to fight dragons!" he grinned.
"Good idea, "Darren noted. "If he could help you against Kraken, he can surely do it. I will fly you there." he offered." And I will take these." He showed Sarcos a few ancient books."They will be very handy..." he grinned.
"Dragon's anatomy, The art of dragon fighting, thank you, Darren," Sarcos smiled. "Do you want to come with me to train them?"
"Yes, "Darren nodded and after writing a quick note to his right-hand man flew Sarcos to Sea Eagle Mountains.
The two Kings with the red dragon were training hard for the second day when Sarcos felt his heart flinch repeatedly...
"You Queen is in trouble..."Crystal Pincer noted in Sarcos's mind coldly...
"Sienna needs us!"The Flaming Scorpion appeared restless as well.
"Stop!"Sarcos lifted his hand and stopped Marco's fight with Darren. "Sienna is in trouble. We need to go immediately. "he ordered to Marco.
"Go fast, I will train the armies!"Darren growled firmly.
"Thank you!"Sarcos with Marco nodded in unison.
"Do not forget your promise."Darren grinned at Sarcos.
"He would wish to be dead!"Sarcos nodded..." but if he dared to hurt my Queen, I would make his existence worse than hell." he promised.
Sarcos swished onto Marco in his eagle form and they flew to the Dragon Lands eloped in Sarcos's newest speed spell.
"Tick-tock, tick-tock, "The invisible clock was ticking in Sarcos's heart as he felt it flinch over and over again till it stopped...
