Lind blinked away the blindness from his teleport before he found himself in an office! It was the least expected place he could have ever imagined a trial taking place!
Dark wood lined the walls with thick beams as the supports at intervals. Shelves were stuffed with books, scrolls, jade slips, and even random sculptures. Everything in the room was worn or at least well used to his expert eyes.
He saw what looked a lot like lamps but from his old world rather than the cultivation world he now lived in! Incandescent bulbs burned softly in each wall lamp. He looked around and saw a large set of double doors closed but what he was looking for was not there.
