Chapter 182: Who Gets Heartfelt Chocolate?! (4)
~Third POV~
[UA Highschool, Heights Alliance, Japan]
Blissfully unaware of the class B boys' conversation, the girls of class A went to the school building in search of Todoroki. Along the way, they bumped into Eijiro Kirishima doing some training, as they asked him about being glasses girl Prince Charming.
Unfortunately, he couldn't recall an incident involving Glasses Girl. Shortly after, the girls spotted Fumikage Tokoyami, and Hitoshi Shinso, all receiving chocolates from some other girls.
The six girls of class A quickly hopped off the path and hid behind some trees. Ochaco looked surprised as she said excitedly, "Wow, are you seeing this? Both are getting actual chocolate!"
Jiro added, equally surprised, saying, "Well, aren't they popular!"
Kinoko nodded as she added gazing at the large pike of chocolate, "Hitoshi's stash is huge!"
It was true—Shinso held several gift bags, but upon closer inspection, each was small. The girls fell silent, eavesdropping on the gift-givers.
"Thanks for the other day, y'know."
"This is nothing too special, but I hope you like it."
"Oh, and don't worry about returning the favor."
From these comments, it was clear that Tokoyami and Shinso were receiving just-friends chocolate. However, when the girls left, Shinso walked towards the trees and asked, "Any reason you're hiding over there?"
He'd known they were there from the start, so the girls awkwardly emerged and walked over as Ochaco said, rubbing her neck sheepishly, "We just, uh, caught you in the middle of that chocolate action, so it seemed like the sensible thing to do!"
Yaoyorozu, with a great deal of curiosity gazing at the chocolate, asked, "That would be just-friends chocolate, I presume?"
Shinso, looking a bit embarrassed, rubbed the back of his head as he replied honestly, "Yeah. One came from a girl who I helped when she dropped something the other day. And this other one was because I lent her an umbrella."
Toru grinned cheekily as she said happily, "Such a nice guy! So typical of you!"
Toga grinned as she added to Shinso's personality cheekily and said, "He makes a habit of being kind. It's that plain and simple."
Tokoyami nodded his head, agreeing with their statements as he said bluntly, "Indeed. An ordinary man of character."
Shinso blushed, but something else bothered him his lips twitched as he said, "Any way you could say those nice things without using the words typical, plain, or ordinary?"
At this, [Dark Shadow] emerged from Tokoyami, excited to contribute to the conversation as it said childishly, "Because you're the King of Normal, Shinso!"
Shinso, feeling offended, asked in a strained tone, "What on earth does that mean?"
Toga added in a childish tone, raising her fist into the air, "The normalest among the regulars! The ultimate ordinary guy!"
Shinso, getting gloomier by the second as the conversation continued, muttered, "Okay, that doesn't even sound like a compliment anymore…"
This got Kinoko thinking as she cheerfully said her idea, getting some attention, "Hmm… I know! Forget all that let's call you the Just-Friends Chocolate King! JFC King for short! How's that?"
Always ones to join the fun, Ochaco, Toga, and Ashido cheered agreeing, "Let's hear it for the JFC King!"
[Dark Shadow], chiming in again, shouted, "I wanna be the JFC King too!"
Shinso looked far from satisfied as he muttered in an annoyed tone, "Still doesn't sound like a compliment."
From the side, Denki and Sato appeared as the electric boy said cheekily, "What's this? Is this tease Shinso day?"
Shinso shot a death glare at the two boys. But Sato soon asked the group in a hushed tone, motioning his hand to come towards them, "Oi! Guys, come quick and see the impossible! I think a girl is confessing to Bakugo!"
All eyes froze, letting the information process in their heads. Everyone was curious, so they decided to follow the duo as the two boys went with them.
At last, the quest led them behind the school building, where they found Bakugo. Before Ochaco could ask, she clapped her hands over her mouth.
Yes, there stood Bakugo, facing a female student—presumably from one of the other courses of study at U.A. The girl, clasping a gift bag that presumably held chocolate, said shyly, "Um… There's something you need to know…"
The group kept hidden, and when they saw the grave expression on the girl's face, they exchanged excited glances. Here, it was a true-blue Valentine's Day profession of love.
Jiro in disbelief whispered, "Is this for real?"
Mina, practically snorting said excitedly, "Oh, this is hype! Here it comes!"
Toga pouted, denying this happening in a doubtful tone, "I don't believe it! This is a false reality…"
Kendo blinked, equally surprised as she muttered shockingly, "Oh… I didn't think it was even possible but here we are…"
Tokoyami, the ever-serious person, murmured, "A fearsome contender…"
As the group stalked the scene occurring out of sight, a pair of voices called out to the group. The first to respond, blinking in a surprised tone, Izuku asked, "What are you all doing over here?"
The other was Ida as he asked, raising an eyebrow in a confused tone, "Have you spotted a rare insect, perhaps?"
The group turned to see Izuku and Ida as Ochaco said whispering, "Midoriya! Ida!"
Once again, Ochaco slapped a hand over her mouth. The two boys had just been passing by after a jog, and they didn't know what to make of this scene.
The others silenced them with a 'Shh!' and beckoned them to join the peanut gallery. Ochaco began to explain in a hushed tone, raising a finger over her lips, "Some girl's about to confess to Bakugo!"
Ida raised an eyebrow as he asked in a hushed tone whispering, "Confess to what? A crime?"
Mina shook her head as she said in an excited tone in a hushed whisper, "To love! What else would it be? It's Valentine's Day!"
They watched with bated breath as the girl at last seemed to find her courage as she shouted, "Um! It's wide open!"
Bakugo said, confused, "Huhh?"
The girl was pointing at the crotch of Bakugo's pants as if she wasn't wrong and said, "Your fly! Down there! Wide open! Anyway, just had to let you know! I gotta run and meet my boyfriend, so see ya!"
Relief washed over the girl's face as she ran off, and the group hiding behind the trees struggled to hold back bursts of laughter as they watched Bakugo glance down and slowly zip his fly.
Kendo, holding her laugh, said in a stunned tone, "Not what we were expecting."
Toga meanwhile grinned as she muttered happily, "Like that, the universe is at peace."
Mina gazed at Toga her best friend as she said nervously with a bead of sweat, "You really don't like seeing Bakugo win don't you?"
Toga shot her tongue out as Izuku explained, rubbing the back of his head nonchalantly, "Oddly enough, Kacchan has never gotten any chocolates on Valentine's Day, at least as far as I'm aware."
This caused the group to be surprised. Toru, shocked, said, "Really?"
Midoriya nodded as he began to explain Bakugo's past relating to girls in a mischievous tone, "Even when we were kids, he never went out of his way to be especially nice to girls. Aunties in the neighborhood would get mad and tell him to play nice, but that just made him more annoyed at women in general. Honestly, I doubt he's ever gotten just-friends chocolate, even."
Bakugo, who'd walked over to the group while Midoriya was caught up in his story, shouted angrily, "Dammit, Deku! Always blab, blab, blabbing about crap that ain't your business! Crap's the only thing that comes outta your mouth, so let's just blast it off your face!"
He aimed an explosion at Midoriya. Midoriya quickly dodges…
*KABOOOM*
Midoriya, dodging the blast said nervously, "Yikes! Cut that out, Kacchan!"
Ida quickly backed Izuku up, scolding Bakugo for using his Quirk in a stern tone, "Bakugo! You mustn't unleash your explosions outside of designated training sessions!"
Ochaco agreed, backing up her friends, "What he said, Bakugo!"
Bakugo growled as he pointed at Izuku in an offended tone, "You got a problem? Then blame him for starting it!"
Izuku waved his hands as beads of sweat trickled down his face as he apologized, "Look, I'm sorry! Really!"
Bakugo not believing it yelled even louder, "As if you even get what you did wrong!"
Their grinning classmates watched as Midoriya and Bakugo's cat-and-mouse exchange intensified, knowing full well that if either were actually fighting seriously, this battle would've already turned deadly.
The two boys' relationship had been more than a little fraught at the start of the school year, but by this point, there was something almost charming about watching them bicker like true childhood friends. But Mina gasped in a shocked tone, "Crud! We forgot about the Prince Charming of class A!"
Reminded of their mission, the girls asked Shinso, and Tokoyami if they had run into and helped a girl with glasses. The tale didn't ring a bell, though.
Seeing the other two options left Asui beckoned bringing the mini battle to a cease-fire as she asked, "Midoriya? Bakugo? Got a minute?"
As the girls explained, neither of the boys could recall aiding such a girl. Bakugo had answered the question willingly, but now his brow began to furrow all over again as he asked sternly, "Hang on. Why're you after this girl, anyhow?"
Realizing they'd been caught, Mina tried to play coy as she said nervously, "Whaddaya mean, why?"
Bakugo, with his sharp intuition, led him to realize there must be more to the story. He said sternly, "If she wants to say thank you that bad, she oughta step up and say it to the guy's face."
Shinso said as the other boys agreed, "He has a point."
Bakugo gazed at the girl's chocolate, connecting the dots as he said bluntly, hitting the nail on the head, "Lemme guess—she tossed some chocolate at you and asked you to deliver it."
Ochaco blurted, surprised, "H-how'd you know?"
The rest of the girls who'd been determined to keep the secret sighed in disappointment as Ochaco, clapping her hands together in apology, said weakly, "Whoops. Sorrrry …"
Momo sighed shaking her head as she comforted Ochaco and proceeded to explain the story to the boys, "You're hardly to blame, considering that Bakugo had already guessed the truth. You see, what happened was …"
Momo proceeded to explain the story, which got the boys strangely excited. The boys began to mutter to themselves at the idea once they knew it wasn't their Class Rep being the obvious choice.
"Our class has a Prince Charming?"
"A secret prince… Keeping to the shadows… A prince of darkness…"
"You think it's you, Tokoyami?"
"No… I was merely brainstorming."
"You sure you didn't forget meeting this girl, Shinso?"
"Nah. Pretty sure, anyway…"
Ida soon spoke up in a determined tone, wishing to aid the girls in their quest, "In any case, this bespectacled upper-level student clearly feels grateful toward her Prince Charming! Is it not our duty as future heroes to come to her aid?"
Bakugo on the other hand scoffed as he said, "Not my problem."
Bakugo began to leave, but before he could storm off, Todoroki appeared. Todoroki, walking over with a large cardboard box, saw everyone as he asked curiously, "What's everyone up to?"
The group turned their attention to Todoroki. Then their eyes drifted to the box of chocolate as the group asked questions.
"Whatchu got there, Todoroki?"
"For some reason, people sent me all this chocolate."
"What! That's full of chocolate?"
Todoroki nodded as he placed the box down and opened the flaps as he said bluntly, "Yeah. Too much for me to eat, anyway."
The box was crammed to bursting with colorful boxes and bags of Valentine's chocolates. It brought awe to the group.
Ochaco had to ask, who couldn't help but gasp in wonder, "Awesome!"
Todoroki, looking puzzled couldn't help but ask in a confused tone, "I have no idea why so many strangers would send me these things all at once."
The group suggested it was because of the number of fans he accumulated from the news. It was when Todoroki said, reaching into his pocket. He pulled out two wrapped chocolates, the kind one might find for cheap at a shop, "Oh, that reminds me. Midoriya, Ida—here."
Both the boys receive chocolates, Ida asks, confused, "Oh. Thank you. But why?"
Neither quite understood what was going on. But it was when Todoroki explained they got the clearer picture in an innocent tone, "Yaoyorozu told me that friends give each other chocolate on Valentine's Day. Is that wrong?"
Midoriya, Ida, and Yaoyorozu in unison said, "Aw, Todoroki!"
The two boys were shaken to their cores, and Todoroki's unofficial tutor on cultural matters was also moved by the gesture. Bakugo looked ready to lose his lunch, but the rest of their classmates couldn't help but smile at this pure display of friendship as Toru said, "Friendship like that… Just too precious!"
Toru and everyone but Bakugo nodded in agreement. This prompted Ida and Midoriya to buy chocolate to share with Todoroki for his kind gesture.
Todoroki watched with a soft smile as his two friends dashed off to the store, eager to return the gesture. The others remembered how icy and aloof Todoroki had been at the start of high school, and they smiled to realize how far he'd come.
The coming spring would mark a full year since their education at U.A. had begun, and just as the buds of trees bloomed over time, so too did people grow and change. It was when Momo had the chance to ask, "Incidentally, Todoroki, do you recall meeting a certain upper-level student? A young lady with glasses?"
She explained what had happened, and as Todoroki pondered the matter, the girls started to get their hopes up as the girls thought in unison, 'Surely Todoroki was the long-sought Prince Charming.'
Unfortunately, the girls wore their disappointment on their faces as he said stoically, "No. Wasn't me."
Mina quickly got things back on track as she groaned in a frustrated tone, "Great. We asked every boy, and they said none of them is Prince Charming. ARGH!!"
Wailing her arms around, genuinely frustrated, the girls restrained Mina from going wild in frustration. But before the group could turn back toward the dorm building to continue their search Bakugo noticed a certain someone, at a distance.
Before the group could leave Bakugo yelled at his classmates his thumb pointed straight at the girl, who was indeed the bestower of chocolate from earlier, "Hey! I think I found your four-eyed girl."
"Oh? Ahh!"
The group was stunned as the Glasses Girl spoke up in front of the group in a nervous tone, "I-I'm sorry! I spotted the Prince Charming of class A and couldn't help but gawk…"
"What? The prince?"
"He's here? Among us right now?"
The bashful student nodded, and the girls' hearts nearly pounded out of their chests as they surveyed the boys who were present and accounted for. They held their breath, knowing the prince was nearby.
Mina handed the gift back to the girl and grinned as she said, "Give it to him yourself, then! You got this, babe!"
The others nodded to show their support, and as if the encouragement had given her a shove, the still-nervous girl stumbled straight toward one boy. The boy was none other than Denki stunned and said in disbelief, "Who…? Me?"
The girl explained, trying to jog his memories as the group froze in disbelief, "Um, a week ago, at the shoe cubbies… You really don't remember? Anyway, I tripped and dropped my glasses, and there you were. You reached out and said, 'Need a hand there, m'lady?'"
Denki was temporarily stunned, but then he gasped, recalling the event in a surprised tone, "Ah! That was you!"
Glasses Girl, her face now beet red as she extended her arms, said nervously, "No one's ever used such a cheesy line on me before in my whole life… I couldn't stop thinking about it afterward. So please accept this gift from the bottom of my heart."
The rest of the girls shrieked, practically writhing with emotion, "Aaah!"
However, the girl, now more puzzled than embarrassed said, "Um. Hello?"
But Denki made no effort to take the gift. The class A girls approached and realized that in his ecstasy, Denki had fallen unconscious.
At that moment, Ren observed the scene as he grinned, thinking, 'Oh, I see my best bud needs a hand! It's up to me! The Wingman!'
Using his [Telepathy] Quirk, Denki's senses came to life as he yelled in his head, 'Obi-Wan Kenobi – er! Ren how – '
Before Denki could formulate his thoughts, Ren helped his bro out in a determined tone, 'You've been given a golden opportunity now: do as I say and remember just be yourself got it?!'
Jolted his eyes darted from the girl to the gift and back again. This time, the tears that flowed from his eyes were pure and clear, without a hint of bitterness as he said in a stunned tone, "Th-that chocolate? For me?"
The girl nodded, once again feeling bashful. Denki asked following Ren's words of advice in a nervous tone, "Y'mean, you l-l-l-love me?"
The Glasses Girl twirls her fingers as she has a beat red face nervously saying, "M-maybe a little soon for that… so let's start as friends first…"
Gulping and regaining his composure, Denki takes out his phone and, in a calm tone, says, "Oh, okay then. Then, let's exchange numbers and see where this goes. Oh, where are my manners I'm Kaminari Denki, and you miss?"
Taking out her phone and exchanging numbers, she says shyly, smiling in a kind tone, "I'm Saeko Busujima Kaminari-kun. I'm from the General Studies…"
The two are engrossed conversing as they leave to get to know each other better. Ren smiled, seeing their future using [Foresight] holding his boxes of chocolate in a calm tone, "I see he'll do just fine. But for me though…"
Ren merely kept the pleased smile on his face, not wanting to ruin his surprise. He turned to see the group as he presented his chocolate to everyone in a cheerful tone, "Hello, everyone! I got you all the chocolate!"
The boys took the chocolate, appreciating the sentiment. The girls blushed at getting Ren's homemade chocolate, guaranteeing a blissful experience with a letter for his lovers that read to meet in his room.
The girls who were his lovers understood as they had reddened faces with silly grins on their faces. For those who didn't understand Yui, Jiro, Mina, and Kendo but peeked over to the side reading Toga's note.
Their faces blushed as Toga said cheekily, catching them off guard, "Do you girls wanna join?"
Their expressions were priceless being asked like that as Mina was stuttering, "W-W-What the hell Toga – "
However, before they could complain, Toga turned and left as she gave them a seed of doubt in an unusually serious tone, "I won't stop you, ya know? But consider this, though? Do you guys want to wait for him to come to you wanting Ren-Sama's love? What if he doesn't love you anymore when he grows up? The chance for something special is in the air, with every girl in class loving him. It's only a matter of time…"
The four girls looked conflicted as if considering Toga's proposal. A sly grin appeared on her face as she began to play with their hearts, thanking Ren happily as her eyes shined like crystals, 'Ah… thank Ren-Sama for awakening and upgrading my Quirk! All praise be Ren-Sama! These girls will learn to love you~'
Toga giggled happily as she used Shinso's Quirk [Brainwashing] to subconsciously manipulate their minds with suggestions subtly. She was happy to have her Quirk upgraded into [Blood Queen].
[Blood Queen]: Grants Toga the ability to copy control and shapeshift freely to anyone so long as she drinks their blood once or manipulates her blood. Additionally awakened, she can now copy Quirks using her Super Move [Bloody Mimic] so long as she drank the blood of her target, she can use that Quirk for every 5 Lv.
With Ren as her backer, obtaining powerful Quirks was no trouble. Especially since she's stacked with [OFA], along with a few others, as she thought happily, 'Hehe… no worries, Ren-Sama, I'll show these lost sheep the way. The way to earn your lasting love~'
Of course, Toga wouldn't force them to do something they wouldn't feel comfortable doing. But the only thing she did was show them to be honest with themselves come forth…

[UA Highschool, Heights Alliance – Ren's Room, Japan]
*Thud*
Entering his room, Ren was greeted with an unusual sight before him. His lovers are the girls in Class A: Momo, Ochaco, Kinoko, Toga, Toru, and Asui. From the other courses, Melissa, and Nejire.
But lying in front of his bed were Yui, Kendo, Mina, Mei, and Jiro, stripped naked. Except for Mei, looking excited, the other four covered themselves as he said calmly, "You all look beautiful, but I must ask why?"
The girls looked embarrassed, but Kendo spoke up, facing him as Mei edged closer with an eager expression, "Because we don't want to be left out… We've had some time to sort out our feelings for you… I originally planned to wait until I was married before entrusting my first time, but my heart tells me that if I don't move, I'll slip past you."
Turning her head to the rest of the girls, they nodded, blushing as Kendo spoke on their behalf nervously, "Now…. Now we just want to be on the same page as everyone else R-Ren-Sama…"
Blushing red, Ren smiled, patting over the head using [Massage], easing her completely. He turned to Mei as he asked curiously, "Okay then, my little Kendo… but you, Mei?"
She moved her chest closer over his shoulder, smirking as she said confidentially, "What? Did you forget about our promise on a date? That and helping you be my sugar daddy for our future inventions? Plus, Melissa said how good you are in bed and wanted to try to see if sex helps my brains out. So I'm hoping to see you fuck my brains out to test that theory."
The girls were stunned by Mei's bluntness as Ren chuckled, agreeing on the spot [Massage] on her ass, grabbing it as she hummed in a blessing as he said, "Hah! Still the same old Mei! Very well, then, I'll officially make you mine tonight. You can't have a potential inventor like you out of ideas. Now then…"
*Fwp*
Using [Sub-Space] to get rid of his clothes, Kendo, Jiro, Yui, and Mina's eyes widened, seeing his rising sword gulping, clenching their legs. Mei grinned as she looked nervous, saying out loud, "Hahah… that will break me…"
The others merely grinned, licking their lips hungrily as Ren began to have his valentines Day orgy with his lovers. Throughout the night, he made sure those girls felt pleasure they had never felt before, ensuring he marked his woman as each of them having heart shaped-eyes.
With that, the search for class A's Prince Charming ended just as the Valentine's Day party was about to begin. Chocolate has long been thought of as an aphrodisiac, but as for whether or not it can make true love bloom? Heaven only knows.
