Synopsis
Imagine a place where geniuses gather to develop even further. A time when geniuses are the most valuable political resource. An era where wars are fought by knowledge and talent. A system where you can become president without any prior political support, but only if you are worthy enough. Geniuses are needed now more than ever before, so highly advanced facilities were created to satisfy the demand. But they are cruel places, the competition to get inside is nerve-wrecking. And to survive there is even more unlikely. Nonetheless, everyone wants a chance, for graduating in one means your future will be bountiful. Graduating at the bottom of the class is often good enough, because there is no limit to the growth you can make. But to get to a high-level career such as a Minister, it would take more than one lifetime. Better results mean better job, which means better life. That is the principle of the post-contemporary society. And Aaron wants the highest position. He wants it all.

Chapter 1 - Prologue

"That guy… did he actually manage?"

"Shhh! He might hear us!"

"I'd be more surprised if he didn't get it. He's a freak."

"To become one of the best 20,000 geniuses in the country… I wish…"

"You sure did!"

"You—!!"

"Silence, it's starting now."

The frail-looking middle-aged man walked to the front of the audience and grabbed the mic.

After a good twenty minutes of useless marketing for the Preparation School of Luo Barony, the dean finally got to the point.

"And now… I would like to give my thanks to the two students who managed to get accepted into the Federal College of Talents this year. After a somewhat short journey, they made several contributions to the school, and are now departing to the capital for a wider point of view. Please, a round of applause for… Aaron Braun and Leticia Seinfeld." His voice trembled a bit at the end.

""*Claps!*""

"Come on, Leti. It's time."

"Ah, y–yes." She was meek. "I really think we should have prepared a speech."

"Nonsense."

The fourteen year old boy with short blonde hair walked into the stage, pulling a blonde girl by the hand. The dean hurriedly left the stage. Once Aaron got to the stand, he released her hand and grabbed the mic.

"Ahem."

"*Uwooooom!*" A loud noise echoed.

"Dear friends and faculty." The boy gave a devilishly fearless smile. "Thank you all for the opportunity, I shall make good use of it."

He properly put the mic back where it was, and turned to the nervous girl. He grabbed her hand and left the stage, and then the school, to never come back. An uproar followed in his wake.
