In the domestic chip industry, the 14-nanometer process chips are quite mature and the relevant technology can be mastered independently. However, even though Guoxing Technology Group can easily produce 7-nanometer process chips, due to technological and other reasons, their 7-nanometer chips are not entirely "made in China".
Not to mention the 5-nanometer chips.
Even if Guoxing Technology Group could produce 5-nanometer chips, they don't possess the necessary equipment, which is all subject to foreign control.
As for foreign semiconductor technology companies, such as those in America and Europe, their 7-nanometer chip technology has already been perfected, and 5-nanometer chips have been successively commercialized, some are even in the research and development stage for 3-nanometer chips.
