But in that split-second, a crimson flame barrier erupted around Evan, consuming the attacks in its blaze.
Leor immediately leapt backwards to avoid the expanding inferno, and just as he did, a colossal beam of divine destruction descended upon Evan from above.
Evan swung his sword in a sweeping arc, unleashing a wave of destructive flames that split the descending beam cleanly in two.
