Although Jacob couldn't extract this knowledge himself because of that gigantic hourglass's existence, with Constant Baron-0 taking charge, it was extremely easy.
Furthermore, Jacob closely observed the floor with the Timeless Hourglass. Because of his visit to the core of the Divine Soulless Pagoda, he easily deduced that the gigantic hourglass was actually the core of the entire Timeless City, and if someone managed to destroy it, the entire city would be defenseless.
But it was easier said than done because the security here was even stricter than in the Dark Cities, and from Constant Baron-0's behavior, it was clear that the gigantic hourglass wasn't under her full control.
She was just an overseer of the Timeless City, the Timeless Overlord, who granted her slightly higher authority than other Constant Barons.
