Sometimes, what seems like a quick affair, could be a tedious and a very long task when it is done alone. This dinner was a great example of that.
Usually, when she would have a partner, the dinner would be over so quickly that Leah would not even realize it. However, when she was having it alone, it seemed like the silence was so loud that she wanted to staple her ears close. The food seemed to be so much that she took hours to finish it, even though she could hear the second step by and it was nothing out of the ordinary.
Bitter tears gathered in her eyes and she closed them, allowing them to fall. What else was she supposed to do?
