Tan Rou knew that Gand wouldn't believe her words, but it didn't matter; she just wanted to buy time. The more time she had, the more she could figure out how to escape.
Although she had spoken of avenging Zhuang Liu later, Tan Rou didn't wish for Zhuang Liu to come to any harm. She hoped Zhuang Liu could make it back alive, as the Zhuang family parents had only this one child. If something happened to Zhuang Liu, it would devastate them.
"Miss Rou, do you think I would believe your words?" Gand said, "And now that you are all in my hands, I just need to give the order, and my Dawn guards will surround you. Why would I let you go and create trouble for myself?"
Tan Rou couldn't show her nervousness; she calmly replied, "Mr. Gand, since I was able to get out of your basement, I can get out of here too. You know what I am capable of, don't you? And you don't really think I came here alone, do you?"
