"How is the situation?" Samiyi asked worriedly, "Are their lives in danger?"
Tan Rou shook her head, "Their vital signs are still relatively stable for now, but they have indeed been poisoned. The poison is similar to the one you were exposed to last time, though it's not lethal yet."
Samiyi found it strange, "Are you saying someone poisoned them but didn't intend to take their lives?"
"Yes," that was also what puzzled Tan Rou, "Have they offended someone?"
"That's impossible," the lady who was speaking stood up again, "My daughter has always been well-behaved and sensible. She couldn't possibly have offended anyone."
Tan Rou glanced at Samiyi, asking with her eyes, "Is that true?"
