The next day, Oya and Eve got ready for their next journey. They adventured the village before heading to the city. While adventuring the village people were staring at them, mostly Oya.
"Eve people are staring at us. Why?" Oya asked worriedly.
"Because we are foreigners." Said Eve not caring about the people. "Also, it is mostly you everyone is looking at. The people have not seen people like us before or maybe even for a long time and maybe you. Your skin is darker than most people here."
"..."
"Also while I went to pee outside I heard some guys...maybe drunks. They were talking about the stereotypes about black people. One of them said if he had the opportunity to meet you he won't mind bedding you."
"..."
Oya had no words. She was just disgusted.
"That is really disgusting. Anyway, let us buy some kimonos before we head to the city."
"And some food?"
"Sure."
After their little shopping. They went to the train station. They got on the train heading to the city. The city's name is Natatas. The city light up the night.
They went to the tourist house where they could buy gifts from the gift shop. After their little shopping, they went looking for a place to live. They went round and around to get a place to live but to no avail. Oya then went to the phone bot to make a call.
"Who are you calling?" Asked Eve.
"My sister." Says Oya dialing the number on the phone.
The phone line begins to ring. Oya watches Eve attending to the horse carriage attending to the horses. The line continues to ring as some weirdos try to hit on Eve. Oya would help but Eve got everything under control. Finally, the phone was answered.
"Hello?" Said the voice behind the other line in a curious tune. "Who is this?"
"It's me your sister." Said Oya.
"Which one?"
"The one that lost nine seeds and control weather."
"Dear gods! I can't believe it!" Exclaimed Oya's sister.
"It's been awhile. Ayao."
"Yeah. Emm...sorry for your loss. You must have left your ex-husband's house after he committed suicide leaving you alone and Oshun as well. I am sorry i was not there to comfort you."
"Thanks but I am fine now. So, do you have a place for me and...maybe a friend to stay?"
Yeah. But you and your friend won't stay for long though. Where I am staying is quite small." Her sister explains. "Maybe I will find a place for you to call your own. Also, are you wearing your mask?"
"Yes. Why do you ask?"
"So I can know it's you."
They both giggled. "Girl I know you can identify me even without the mask. I have vertical scarification all over my face, remember?"
After some little talk, they ended the call. Oya goes to Eve who has been waiting for her for the past sixty minutes ago.
Her friend wondered what toke her so long to make a call but Oya explained herself. They soon started their journey to meet Ayao, Oya's sister. They got to where Ayao told them to go. It looked sad and depressing but it was the perfect place to stay if you are someone trying to find something or someone from the public eye.
Soon after, two figures emerge from the dark corner of a building. One of the figures had one crotch on its left side. Oya comes down from the carriage and walks up to them. Eve sits behind as she watches Oya go up to them. Just in case something bad is about to happen, Eve has her handgun ready and her dagger.
To Eve's surprise, Oya hugs the feminine figure while she kneels to greet the other tall finger. The three of them walk towards the carriage and Eve. As they got to Eve, Eve could see their faces.
The lady who sims to be Oya's sister Ayao looked almost exactly like Oya while the manly figure had half his body incomplete. No right eye, no right hand, and no right leg.
"Eve." Says Oya. "This is my sister Ayao and this is her partner Osain.
"Nice to meet you..." Eve says awkwardly as her face turns red.
"Nice to meet you too." The two chorus.
They then took off Ayao's house. It was small but not as small as Oya and Eve had expected. It was enough for them anyway. They got into the house, got comfortable, eat some delicious food, and had a little drink after.
It was now time for everyone to go to bed. Eve felt bad that she might be getting in the way of their reunion. So she decided on where she would sleep for the night.
"Emm...Oya?" Eve called out.
"Yes?" Oya replied.
"I will stay in the carriage. You and your sister can stay together for the night. I will be fine."
