"Daddy," Lavanya called in a spoiled tone.
Maybe people who are not used to hearing it will say that Lavanya is disgusting. Like a little child. In fact, Lavanya has entered the age of 24 years. Especially for people who know Lavanya in the Office. Lavanya is very authoritative when in front of her employees and will be very helpful when in front of her Father and older Brother.
"Lavanya. How was the meeting dear? Was it smooth?"
"Fine, Dad. So the result of the meeting earlier was—"
Without further ado, Lavanya immediately explained the results of the meeting this afternoon at the Restaurant with her Father. Lavanya can be professional in the Office even though it's the fault of her Father's own company. Moreover, Lavanya actually still has a lot to learn to lead the company. Be it from her Father or her older Brother.
The Father who wants his company besides going to his son, he also wants his company to go to his daughter. Very patiently Father taught Lavanya about being a company leader. And Lavanya tries to do her best for her family-owned company.
"Okay, the report is received. Then you can continue your work, dear. I also have one more meeting outside."
"Okay dad."
"Apart from discussing work problems, you don't want to tell Dad anything else? You seem really happy. What makes you happy like this, dear?"
"No Dad. I'm just used to it. Then I want to go back to my room, Ok. Dad's spirit is working."
Again Lavanya did not answer the question from her Father. Again, Lavanya just left him. It seems Lavanya is still not ready to tell her Father about Arzan's figure.
********
"Dhira," called Lavanya.
"Uh, hi."
"Are you still waiting for a taxi?"
"Yes, it's really difficult, usually a taxi at this hour doesn't have anyone passing by. Even though I want to pick up my child."
"Well then, just come with me."
"Is it okay?"
"It's okay. Like anyone else. Come on."
"Well then. Come on."
After waiting for a long time but no taxi passed in front of the Office, Dhira finally went home with Lavanya. Previously the two of them would pick up Ghali, the son of Dhira.
"Mommy...." Ghali shouted.
"Honey... Sorry for the long wait. The taxi wasn't there before. Luckily, there was Aunty Lavanya."
"Yes, Mom, it's okay. Thank you, Aunty."
"Yes dear, you're welcome."
Ghali is a sweet and intelligent child. Even though he is only 5 years old and still in kindergarten, Ghali is already very good at talking and very polite with everyone. You could say Ghali was grown up by circumstances. Where he must be strong in living this life. Because all Ghali has is his Mother. There is no Father figure who can protect him like a Father in general.
"Ghali. Have you had lunch yet?"
"Aunty, this afternoon."
"Do you want ice cream?"
"Want Aunty. Is it possible?"
"Sure, then. Now let's find ice cream."
"Asikk. Come on Aunty."
Lavanya really loves Ghali like her own child. Lavanya's love for Ghali is as great as Dhira's for Ghali. Because she had promised, Lavanya immediately looked for ice cream and a place to eat it.
"Say what to Aunty."
"Thank you very much, Aunty Lavanya."
"Yes dear, you're welcome. The ice cream is finished."
"Yes Aunty."
Suddenly Lavanya's cellphone rang. Incidentally Lavanya has entered Arzan's phone number. It made Lavanya surprised when she found out that this time it was Arzan who called her. The man who recently always helped Lavanya when she was in danger.
Lavanya spontaneously smiled.
"Why are you smiling like that? Who's the call from?" asked Dhira who was curious.
"This is it, the person I told you about this afternoon."
"Oh yeah? So you two have exchanged numbers?"
Lavanya just nodded her head while smiling shyly.
"Ciee. Well picked up."
"Wait a minute, please."
"Yes."
After a long time her cellphone rang, finally Lavanya picked up the call from Arzan.
"Hello."
"Hello. Surely you haven't saved my number yet?"
"Says who? How come you know so much."
"The evidence took a long time."
"I had some business, so I didn't come quickly. I'm sorry."
"It's okay. I'm just joking. It's okay then. I'm just testing your number. I thought you just gave me your number."
"That's fine. Really."
"Fine, then. Later if you need anything just call me."
"Yes. Thank you very much."
"You're welcome."
It turns out that Arzan called Lavanya just to try whether the phone number that Lavanya gave him was correct or not. Lavanya was a little annoyed because she was accused of giving away her phone number. But somehow the annoyance quickly disappeared and turned into a beautiful smile painted on his lips.
"Ciee. Some are smiling to themselves," joked Dhira.
"What the hell. Ghali, have you finished eating the ice cream yet?"
"Yes Aunty."
"Okay, let's go home now."
"Come on Aunty."
Feeling awkward, Lavanya invites Ghali and Dhira to go home. Lavanya took Ghali and Dhira home right up to her house. Incidentally, the distance from Dhira's house to Lavanya's house is not too far.
"Stop by Lavanya first."
"It's okay, thank you. I just want to go home."
"Those who are in love, they just want to stay in their room and make the phone call."
"What the heck. Don't make fun of me like that ah. Just pray that he's the best for me. Hopefully he will be given a way and guidance."
"Amen. I hope you can be happy with your husband in the future. Don't let you be like me."
Suddenly the atmosphere became sad. Dhira remembers her past with her husband. Lavanya as a very sensitive friend immediately hugged her very tightly while rubbing her shoulder hoping that Dhira could be strong. Moreover, so far Dhira has been through it very well.
"Oh, don't remember it anymore. You are great. One day you will surely get a husband who is much better than yesterday."
"But I'm not that old, Lavanya."
"Don't talk like that. No one knows the name of a mate. Well then I will go home first. Bye Ghali."
"Bye Aunty. Aunty be careful, yes," replied Ghali.
"Thank you Lavanya."
"Yes, you're welcome."
This time Lavanya really left Dhira's house.
"Now let's go in. You change your clothes, then rest."
"Yeah, um..."
Dhira and Ghali enter their house which is not as big as Lavanya's. But for them, their lives are very happy with the simplicity they have without the presence of a male figure as a husband for Dhira and a Father for Ghali.
