The early morning sun slowly slipped into the dark apartment through the slightly opened space between the closed curtains and shone brightly on Feng Tian's passed-out body that was curled up in a ball. It was as though it was trying to protect her from all the evil in the world by engulfing her in its warmth.
And as soon as the bright light reach her face, Feng Tian's eyebrows pricked up, finally putting the sun's mission to an end.
Slowly peeling her eyes open, Feng Tian laid unmoving on the floor, the memory of the previous night slowly and painfully finding its way back to her, not without also bringing along with it, a slight migraine which caused her to instantly snapped her eyes shut as a small groan of pain escaped the corner of her lips.
Feng Tian sighed, and then proceeded to lift her hand to hold her head which felt as if it was going to split into half at any moment under her nest-like hair, but she instantly regretted that decision as she felt her body ache all over.
